This place used to have good food, now is only salt and garlic sauce. Even the fries were just way too salty for anyone’s taste. Too bad they use a name “Bucharest” that is related to food and passion for eating. Only bad food and spoiled ingredients are covered in salt to mask it. Use salt and pepper on the table and remove it from the ingredients. Give your patrons option for a healthier alternative. The taste is in good food not in salt. Bring the taste back, and also, the use of garlic sauce with so much salt covers the taste of food too. Too much of it is not better. Have the sauce on the side. Also the soda dispenser needs to have just plain soda water, your drinks are all too sugary. Is cheaper for you as well.
About an hour ago I placed a online order for a shawarma box with no mayo and no tomatoes. I picked up my order and went home. When I got home I notice instead of no Mayo, the cook put mayo on my food and instead removed the garlic sauce.I called to let them know of the mistake. The girl who answered the phone was very friendly and did apologize and advised me they will make me a new one with no mayo only. I drove back again and picked up the sandwich and the recipet again shows NO MAYO. BUT guess what....THEY AGAIN REMOVED THE GARLIC SAUCE AND INSTEAD PUT MAYO ON IT. I DROVE A TOTAL OF 32 MILES TO THE Restaurant.Front desk staff is great but the cooks are terrible. I feel like they did this on purpose. How do you make the same MISTAKE WITHIN AN HOUR!!!!

This place is overly priced for no good reason the fattoush cost 12 to $11 since when how??? For no protein and just salad your slamming your customers with $14 it's ridiculous the pricing is disgusting. Falafel is flavorless. And it's not even authentic not even close and the dressing is horrible. The quantity is small and the pricing is high. They used to have their boxes for like eight something okay fine a little bit decent but then they hike the price for that too. I'm surprised so many people are willing to give these people business with the high prices & flavorless food, the audacity.. make it sense to me please. If you want real authentic food you go to Dearborn, Dearborn Heights even some restaurants around in Farmington Hills they don't slam me with high prices. Their prices are very decent and you get a lot for what you're paying for. Save your money it is not worth it spending here go to a better restaurant.
I Have Ordered From Bucharest Many Times. On My Last Two Visits, My Order Has Not Been Up To Par. My First Unsatisfactory Order Was A Chicken Shawarma, The Chicken Was Tough. I Didn't Give Up Because I Have Enjoyed Their Food. The Next Time I Ordered Two Chicken Shawarmas For Myself And A Guest. We Both Became Ill. We Both Suffered From An Upset Stomach And Diarrhea. It Was The Only Thing That I Had Eaten That Day, Therefore I Know That Was The Source.

Beef Shawarma I ordered was too delicious. A full of beef almost broke my jaw, then a rich and slightly acidic sauce was generously tossed in it and whetted my appetite. Before going back to japan, I wanna eat again.
