“Sweet husband took me for my birthday! Great food! Decent service- Did not mention on menu or from server that tip would be automatically billed in. Would have liked to known at the beginning before ordering, just common courtesy. Idk if anyone else dealt with this. DELICIOUS DELICIOUS FOOD THO“
“Spicy braised pork with cheese corn is S tier! Makgeolli is well priced, comes in a big bottle, and is super tasty. Bonus points for the loud ambiance. You can bring your crying baby, and nobody will notice! Must try for anyone in the area.Vegetarian options: The cheese corn and complimentary Tteok-bokki mean you can share a night out pounding drinks and filling up on greasy food with your meat-eating friends!Parking: Clawson has free parking lots at every corner of the 14-mile/main intersection, as well as free street parking.Kid-friendliness: Restaurant has loud music and lights, which will either entertain or upset your child. If they are upset, the music will cover up their cries, and clawson is a family town, so nobody will care anyway.Wheelchair accessibility: Two tables are up a small set of chairs, all tables are at wheelchair height.“
“Amazing itamae who has been adding new items to the menu here! Best hidden gem in the area. Take out only here but that works well for us. Sushi is always fresh and delicious! Baked Crab Roll which is new is amazing. Dragon Roll, Shrimp Tempura roll and Salmon Roll are just some of our favorites. The have good Edamame now as a side as well. ❤️???❤️“
“It was a nice, cozy place and staff was friendly. We ordered the chicken yaki udon, chicken omurice, and 4 rolls of sushi (california roll, kazoku roll, las vegas roll, square lake roll). Everything tasted great but our favorite was the las vegas, square lake roll, and the yaki udon.“
“I am not exaggerating what so ever here when I say I have been here every day for the past 2 or so months. Their Rose Tteokbokki never seems to miss. My first time ever trying rose was here and I have been obsessed with it ever since. The staff are so nice and never fail to make me smile when I come in to order. Love the staff and food, if I could give this 100/5 stars I would!:)“
“We had finished an evening of shopping down the road and were hungry. We were craving noodles and chicken and came upon Kimchi Box. The woman who took our order was extremely friendly and helpful. We placed our order and when we got our food it looked incredible. And sure enough, it was!! The food was so flavorful and you can tell everything is made with passion. The sauces were so good too! Can’t wait to come back!! Thank you Kimchi Box!“
“10/10 experience!! The woman who took our order was very kind and helpful. Got the bibibop and it was delicious! The tofu is so crisp. Also it’s a huge portion you’ll probably have leftovers. Also fair priced, excited to go back.Vegetarian options: Delicious tofu!“
“It's such a nice restaurant. They really make great korean food. Some of the servers are not korean, though, and not completely fluent in English, so keep that in mind. They are very sweet and doing their best! My server made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. She couldn't have done a better job. The food is so amazing. This time around, I ordered the dumpling soup. It was delicious, the rice cakes were cooked perfectly, and the portion sizes were amazing. The only thing I would change about this place is the parking lot! It really needs to be bigger.“
“BahDah is easily my favorite sushi spot in the area. You simply cannot beat the value you get for this food. The lunch teriyaki bento box is a steal and my favorite thing on the menu. When ordering carry out my order has always been correct and the staff in store is super sweet. If you'd like to dine in there are some tables to do so. Highly recommend coming here if you're looking for some delicious sushi at a fair price point.“
“Really enjoy the soy garlic flats from here. Definitely very good of you like fried anything. The spicy wings are on the spicier side so be prepared if you order that. The quality of the chicken is very good which it puts it above other fast food wing places. I usually get takeout as there's not many tables at the restaurant.“
“First time visiting this restaurant and really enjoyed the food! The waiters were very nice here and they also had suggested which sauces I should eat with my meat. Also provided the best-selling orders and recommendations in which I really appreciate. Would definitely come back here again with more friends! There’s a variety of foods for vegetarian people if they cannot eat pork :)“
“I love this place!!!!! if you want some pretty legit casual japanese AND Korean food.... this place is fantastic! the staff/ownership are super nice, the food is real, what more could you ask for? had the takoyaki today and holy moly was that awesome. tempura avacado with honey is delicious. bibimbap in the hot stone bowl is top notch. katsu curry rules. obviously their sushi is well made sushi. but there's so much more to this place than sushi. the wife enjoys the chicken fried rice. I always go in craving sushi and end up getting more. I've been going here since it opened.“
“The price, quality and quantity were all very good. The service was horrendous but the rest of the pluses made up for the extremely slow service. What was most st disappointing was there were only 8 customers. I am typically pretty patient with restaurants due to workforce issues but this was just a really bad waitress. But they still get 5 stars.“
“A solid and tasty place for a fast bite. Service was friendly yet professional. Food was prepared fresh-to-order. Dog was so yummy! Had the spicy sausage with spicy coating. Such a tasty treat! Will go again when in the area.Parking: Plenty of parking, including the adjacent free parking garage.“
“First of all I absolutely love Korean food and the people of this restaurant take good pride and their food this was my first time coming here and I had a wonderful time the atmosphere was lovely it was very homey and the food was very deliciousDietary restrictions: They have gluten-friendly options“
“Great food. Must try is their small bites before food which includes deep fried egg plant, picked tofu, mung bean steamed sticky rice. We tried the grilled mackerel and fried chicken with hot pepper, spring rolls, fried dumplings. Portions were more than sufficient. Will try again during lunch for BBQ.Must try Korean place in Troy. Try it for birthdays, love their disco lights and birthday cake sung by staff.“
“We’ve been coming to Tomo for 8 years now I think, we did the math the other day. My friend who recently moved back to Japan would really only go here because her mom wouldn’t go anywhere else really- especially if it was for ramen or anything not sushi. It’s amazing! Huge bang for your buck, great food, great service, and so much to try out. Sashimi is what my father gets and loves every single time and insists it’s some of the best he’s had and always consistent. I always get tonkastu here because it amazing and I know I’ll be disappointed if I have it from anywhere else. That said, there can be a little bit of language barrier if you only speak English (which is fine! The servers are amazing!) so special orders may not work out, it’s best order what looks good to you and stick to it (unless allergies of course).I bring friends and family here every time, and every time we all leave happy, full, and planning he next trip.Edit: A few tips! Stack your dishes and place them on the end of the table when you’re done, we’ve done this every time and dishes are picked up as they go by.The servers are not huge on talking, it’s just how it is, I personally don’t mind at all because I come to eat food not have a conversation.Go IN if you can, I’ve never ordered take out from here just cause I always figured the amount of food I’d get with that would be a pain to carry home.“
“Small little restaurant inside H mart.I ordered the black bean noodle and Korean fried chicken wings to go, and both dishes were great. The staff was nice and friendly, and it didn’t take long to get my food. The portions were huge and tasty. The black bean noodle was full of flavor, savory and chewy. It came with vegetables and small bites of pork. The wings were crispy and tasty with a little kick.I would def come back to try more dishes.Parking: Big plaza with plenty of parking spots.“
“Sapporo may not boast the fastest service, but the quality of the sushi more than makes up for the wait. Each dish is meticulously prepared, showcasing the skill and attention to detail of the sushi chefs. The flavors are exceptional, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients that elevate traditional sushi to a memorable dining experience. The pricing reflects the quality of the offerings, making it a worthwhile investment for those who appreciate the finer points of sushi craftsmanship. Despite the slower service, the overall experience is highly recommended for sushi connoisseurs and those looking to indulge in some of the best sushi around.“
“Highly recommend going to Daebak. The food was delicious and the service was great. Plan on going there again and they do private parties and group tables.Parking: Was able to park close, but it does get busy during rush hours. There's a Korean store next door and kpop shop within the building as well as bubble tea shop.Kid-friendliness: There is seating for children as well. There's a cheaper price for kids under 10.Wheelchair accessibility: Able to get around in a wheelchair in the restaurant.“
