We wanted to check out a place without looking at reviews or doing any research and we chose Alex's. Even with two toddlers, everyone was very accommodating and polite, always making sure plates were set where little hands can't throw them, taking away things as we needed, and giving us extra garlic and pita multiple times without even needing to be asked. The service was above top notch and the food was amazing. Definitely will be returning!Parking: Roughly 15 spots plus other parking lots near by.Kid-friendliness: Staff was very accommodating towards the littles we brought.

I came in and order a veggie plate lunch special. The veggie plate was soooo good. Best hummus I've had in my life!! The customer service was immaculate. Everyone was smiling happy and friendly. Its family owned and the food is fresh!!!! I love this place and am now a lifetime customer!!

Moving downriver after being spoiled by Dearborn's shawarma options had us on the hunt for the best options nearby. We didn't have to look any further than Alex Kabob. Their meals are delicious and the portion sizes keep us coming back at least a couple times a month. Staff is very friendly and clearly cares for their customers.

An unassuming looking place with great service and a wide array of vegan food. Everything we had was great. The hot pita with garlic sauce served to every table was sooo good. Lentil soup, wonderful. Falafel plate, fantastic. We got an additional two meals, out of just our leftovers to go. First time there and they gave as complimentary baklava as a welcome gift. Great people, great portions, great value.Vegetarian options: Most are not just vegetarian, but vegan.
