Completely went downhill. Messed up 2 things on a simple order. Dumb/rude waitress. Watched my food sit for over 5 minutes in the window while she did side work instead of bringing the food first.

Breakfast is always great!! We stop here every couple weeks and the staff are friendly and the food comes out pretty quickly. Overall cost is pretty low, that's a huge plus! Try the travelers

I've been coming to Six Star Family Restaurant for a long time it's just in the recent past year that I believe the food is gone downhill especially when I got two dinners to go today and they were hot meatloaf sandwich with mixed vegetables mashed potatoes and a hot turkey sandwich with mixed vegetables mashed potatoes they were absolutely terrible the vegetables were hard the meat for the meatloaf was like a flat piece of leather in the turkey was super dried it was on white Wonder Bread with canned gravy I can tell because I am a good cook and I know canned food and box food from home cooked food they used to have really good home-cooked food but not anymore I was going to take it back but I don't like to do that the price we pay nowadays for food I think we should get good quality damn food. a week prior the meatloaf was really super thick on thick French bread toasted and the vegetables were great this was definitely a turn off and that's all it took to break the straw on the camel's back I will not be returning after being a long time 15 year customer that was discouraging, and I get carryout at least once to twice a week. Time for a new coney search.

Needed to pick up a quick bite when returning home after a live show downtown, and there aren't many places open after midnight anymore! This one was, and the food was great. The large grilled chicken salad is a standout for me, loaded with fresh lettuce, delicious chicken, crisp tomatoes, and plenty of cheese. My companions loved the coney and patty melt. A Downriver classic!
Turkey dinner was covered in a gel they called gravy, mashed potatoes weren’t fresh and tasted like frost bit vegetables, vegetables were mushy. Everything very bland tasting. I had like 4 bites and sent it back. Service at the table and at the register never asked how things were, so when I told them it wasn’t good it was no surprise they didn’t care.Just another disappointing downriver Coney Island

After my meal today I had to change my rating. It is disappointing because this was one of my absolute favorite places to eat. I got a chicken wrap today and the lettuce was brown and soggy....it looked like it was way past expiration date. My tomatoes tasted old. I alerted the waitress (I'm not sure why she served it to begin with....it was that bad.). She didn't seem concerned. She offered to get me a new one but at that point I was so grossed out that I was not hungry. I paid the bill and left. I don't think I'll be back again. If I am going to spend $20 on a meal, I want to be able to eat it.
