Highly recommend the banquet room downstairs for an event. We had a baby shower and loved the venue and atmosphere. It was great from the communication, setup, and food were excellent. The wait staff was very accommodating and very awesome people. My guests raved about the good tasting food. Thanks, Cranks!

This is the grill/bar room and associated catering/activity rooms for the Saint Clair Shores Golf Club. The staff was nice and attentive, the burgers and tots were okay. They have some sort of deal with the Crank Brewery in Big Rapids where they advertise the beer and serve it. The beer wasn't great, and it was undercarbonated. It was really loud, even at 1/4 full, and more so when a crowd of women from a baby shower came into the main room to get mixed drinks. The prices were pretty good.

I recently ordered the fish and chips from Cranks, and I must say that I was deeply disappointed with the quality of the dish. The breading on the fish had an off-putting taste and texture, resembling stale and oily cereal corn flakes.Upon my first bite, I immediately noticed a lingering staleness that overshadowed any potential enjoyment. The breading seemed like it had been sitting around for far too long, lacking the fresh and crisp coating that is essential to a satisfying fish and chips experience. The texture was unappealing, with a greasy and clumpy consistency that made it difficult to appreciate the flavor of the fish. The presence of oily cereal corn flakes as a coating was baffling and seemed like a poor choice for such a classic dish. It did not enhance the flavor of the fish but rather detracted from it, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. To add to the disappointment, the chips served alongside the fish were also a letdown. They were greasy and lacked the desirable crispiness, appearing limp and undercooked. The combination of the lackluster chips and the subpar breading left me feeling unsatisfied and regretful of my choice.I believe that the restaurant should be ashamed to serve a dish of such poor quality. Fish and chips is a beloved staple, and it is disheartening to encounter such a disservice to this classic dish.

Best meal I've had in a long time!

Worse corned beef sandwich ever. My boyfriend had the Slim Jim and the bread was really hard. Do not eat here

Food was OK, not great and expensive. More of a golfers atmosphere - don't anticipate going again for dinner. Server was great!

Having heard great things about Cranks, I told my boyfriend he couldn’t come to this one without me. The Bloody Mary was pretty good, but could’ve been a little spicier for my taste. We split a Caesar salad and the dressing was a little lighter than a typical caesar and tasted so fresh. Both of us got the California club wrap, and it was perfect for a light meal before hitting the links. There are a few more options I’d like to try next time!
