Absolutely inedible. We recently received a basket of pastries as a gift from DeRos and it was the worst food I have ever eaten. The pastries tasted like sawdust filled with cardboard. I didn’t even know it was possible to make pastries so bad. Don’t make the same mistake our friends made: never order from here.

Our families have use DeRos for years through all the owners. We have had nothing but compliments on the baskets we have sent. Even across the U.S. to California, they got the baskets fresh as if it was around the corner.

I have been ordering these pastry baskets for 20 years and have always been complimented for them by clients and friends. I send in lieu of flowers to every funeral and the families always appreciate these baskets. Thank you DeRos for always being there for us. I just ordered another last night.

I wish I could give zero stars. I received a gift basket that had stale inedible items. They never responded to my issue. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.

I order from Deros often when friends have a baby or on other occasions. They usually are spot on and very delicious. I ordered for friends and family since I won't be seeing them because of COVID and thought it would be a nice gift. Unfortunately, they did not put who the sender was on my card that was sent with the order, so they didn't know who it was from. Also, 2 of the three orders I sent were delivered 2 days early than the date I specified. I called customer service and spoke to a man who just made excuses and wasn't very sincere in his apology (had to pull it out of him) and when I asked for some sort of discount for their mistake, he made it seem like I was really putting him in a bad position and ignored at first. I really like to support local, but Deros's customer service needs help and I'm unsure if I will ever order again.
