You know, my father was a Cop in the Shores back in the 50s, 60s and early 70s, I have worked for just about every Pizza Company there is, especially the local ones including Sammys on 13 and Jefferson, I am still a PQM member for pizza guys, I love pizzas, I don't buy out too often because I can make anybody's I want, but had to try DSPC. ,The crust was awesome, liked it better then Buddys or Jetts, burnt cheese on it was perfect, the topping were awesome. And the sauce was a great traditional. Not too sweet or flat. I cant say enough good stuff about my experience. But Pizza is not just regional, it is Neighborhood Driven, even 2 miles tastes change to what is local for you. So go out and try a Little Guys Pizza and forgo the chains.

This is my favorite pizza place on the east side. The pizza is very light compared to a traditional deep dish pizza. The sauce is almost more like a sweet pasta sauce than your heavy marinara. If you are a round pizza fan, this will be your favorite deep dish option. I have not had a poor experience yet!

I'm going to make a BOLD claim that this pizza is the best Detroit style pizza in Metro Detroit! Better than Buddy's, better than Cloverleaf, better than Jets...the GOAT pizza. Pizza is always crispy, with a perfect sauce to cheese ratio. It's another smaller pizza shop, but great service and great employees. Perfect spot for a quick pizza and often never too busy. Highly recommended.

just ordered a detroit style pizza pan from these guys via their online business - can’t wait to try it - won’t be detroit detroit pizza since i’m in charlotte nc but stil……..

First time coming here and I definitely won’t be back $40 for a salty as hell pizza that wasn’t cut? and the bread stick size is so small! Not to mention the rude employee who took my order over the phone. I’ll just go to jets next time I need a deep dish.

Visited today 01/31/24 with my brother and cousin and we all thought the pizza and wings were absolutely delicious and the young guy working there alone was super friendly. I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could!
