My husband and I tried Papelon Arepa for the first time today and it's going to be hard to stop ourselves from eating here multiple times a week. The gentleman assisting us was so kind and throughly explained the menu options to us, and made great recommendations. The food, omg, the food is out of this world delicious. Everything we tried was superb. This is my new favorite spot in all of Macomb County. Go give them a try, you will not regret it!

It is a little expensive but so worth it everything we have had from here has been super flavorful And delicious. I love that you can buy a few things like Tequenos and cachitos frozen since they have a little market area of Venezuelan snacks and foods. If you have a sweet tooth I recommend trying the chicha which tastes very similar to a rice pudding but in a thick drink form. This is a very unique place if you are looking to try Venezuelan food.

only just found out this place existed because someone else's review of it showed up nearby in my local guides, and I am SO GLAD (thanks to whoever posted a picture of your delicious looking food). The pistachio latte is especially unique and delicious. can't wait to try everything!

We decided to grab dinner from here after finding out that their food truck was going to be here. We ordered inside and loved how cute the market was. My 5 year old daughter loved the play kitchen area that's set up for the kids to play on. We ordered an Only Queso, a Bratry Queen, a Cachapa Reina- Queen, and 3 Nutella Wafflequeños. We also got a Columbiana and Postobon pops. The food was amazing. You can dine in or take it to go. My daughter loved the food and playing. Everyone was very nice too. We'll definitely be back!

Just tried an authentic taste of Venezuela at Papelon in St. Clair Shores! Their food truck parked out front offers Arepas (cold sandwiches) and huge Cachapas (folded corn bread pancakes) as well as empanadas, Venezuelan cheese sticks and churros. The cafe inside has espresso, Venezuelan coffees and drinks, baked goods and many other goods! They also have a food truck around the metro Detroit area. Couldn’t recommend enough! Friendly staff as well!

I've been looking forward to trying this restaurant! I stopped in after hearing there are more options available when their food truck is present, so today was THE day! They offer fast, friendly service when you walk in! I walked around just to take a good look at everything. I love the decor and space designated for kids! It's a nice touch. The cashier answered my questions about the menu items! I will return to try more items. The Catira-Blondie arepa was very tasty! The green sauce on the side made it even more delicious. I just wish the bread for the sandwich had been fresher- softer. The iced pistachio latte was okay. It needed more pistachio flavor. Next time, I'll try a different coffee drink. They have ample parking in a lot that's shared with other businesses.

The music sucked balls and sounded like it came out of a barbie episode! There were sh¡t stains on the booths too. Overall, great time!

This place is a gem. The food is so good. I had a ricotta choffle. It was a croissant baked in a waffle maker. It had ricotta cheese, blueberries, bananas, cinnamon, honey, and sprinkled with almonds. It was a little sweet from the bananas and blueberries with the hint of honey and cinnamon. It was perfect.I also had a dark mocha. It was perfectly made. I brought home a puffy pastelitos made with beef. It was so flavorful in a flaky pastry.Parking: There were plenty of parking spaces available.
