Cheesecake was alright. The atmosphere was ruined after the woman attending the stand glared at my mother. Should've come on another day for a different cashier.

This was my first time trying the cheesecake shoppe, they exceeded my expectations, everything that I got was so delicious and fresh, the workers were very polite and friendly, definitely would recommend to a friend, I liked how you could get personal options if you did not want a whole cheesecake! They also gave me a free cinnamon roll sample!

Tried the new banana cheesecake for the first time… I have to say it’s now in my top 3 best flavors of cheesecake. Goes perfect with a cup of their Java coffee as well. A must try!

The apple cheesecake was not good. The carmel and apples did not taste fresh. The apples were cut into fine pieces. The taste reminded me of the apples in a packet of apple oatmeal. The lemon cheesecake was not bad. The taste of an Baker's Square apple cheesecake is hard to find and I couldn't find it here. Thanks for the experience though.

If you're looking for the freshest cheesecake in St. Clair Shores, then I would highly recommend checking out The Cheesecake Shoppe right on Greater Mack! As soon as you walk in the aroma from the cheesecake will have you thinking you fell in love for the first time. They greet and treat you like family with the greatest and fastest service ever.

I visited again after a while of not visiting. I went through a long testing of different cheesecake. I enjoyed the cheesecake factory brand from Walmart but they stopped stocking it. I remembered this place. So I ran up there today. The cheesecake is better than I remember. The guy at the counter is always nice and enjoys talking. I get a sense he owns the place, he seems to have a genuine interest in cheesecake. They make specialty cheesecake I believe. I just seen below they might offer slices. I bought a family size New York style plain and a cheesecake cupcake. I had the cupcake after dinner. Very good. They have an easy entry way so I imagine it's wheel chair accessible. I would assume it's child friendly. It's very colorful and cakes presented very nicely. They have coffee available and drinks. I park just south of the entry next to the bar. It's an easy walk and nicely lit up with people having fun in what looks like a well behaved bar. You feel the heat from the infrared heaters of the outside area of the bar on the way up. There is also parking out front just north of cheesecake shoppe if you Don't want to travel far.

This place is one if THEE BEST hidden gems in all of the metro Detroit area. I stopped in for a cup of coffee. The staff was polite, courteous & accommodating. I was surprised as to the various different coffee types they had & I sampled a few. Every single one of them were absolutely delicious. Far superior than any gas station or fonut place. Well worth the trip in alone but then the CHEESECAKE! I counted well over a dozen different kinds of cheesecake. I wish I could have tried them all. I will eventually. This place is well worth going out of your way for. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You'll be back.
Many years ago, we would get cheesecakes for our special occasions from The Cheesecake Shoppe. We returned to the east side of the Detroit metro area after moving out of state for about 30 years. And, we were pleased to find The Cheesecake Shoppe still around. The cheesecakes are just as we remembered, great.

This place is heaven on earth. I have been a customer since I moved to St. Clair shores 5 years ago but recently developed celiac disease. Their gluten free cheesecake is amazing. But their gluten free cookies ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I been trying to find good gluten free cookie and this is it!
