As I was placing my order the young lady that was helping me had an attitude. She started a door dash order then came to take my order while wearing a ear bud yelling at me to speak up because she couldn’t hear me while the blender was going and the ear bud in her ear ….. So I finally placed my order with the rude young lady which was the detox island green smoothie that has no syrup or any sweetener… I asked her to add kiwi she said ok I got my smoothie it was so sweet I couldn’t believe it the kiwi she added was kiwi syrup not fruit considering this smoothie had no added sweeteners to it she asked was it ok if she could add kiwi syrup because they didn’t have the fruit!

Here's what I liked, and didn't like.Dislikes:1) Was my first time in there, and I bought a Detox Island Green smoothie for myself, and a Sunrise Sunset smoothie for my mom. My smoothie was flat out nasty! I think it would've tasted way better with more pineapple to sweeten it. It was a bitter mess, never ordering that again! My mom said her smoothie was really good though.2) Their smoothies are wayyy overpriced. Those two smoothies were damn near $20! They are fruit drinks, are you serious?! I don't know why I paid for that.3) The decor was blah. They can do better than that honestly, and they may wanna run a vacuum cleaner over that floor mat.Likes:Well...if the prices weren't so high, I would probably go back for a more sweeter smoothie. But naw.....I'm good.

I go to this same location, almost every day and order the same thing every day. And when they don't have whey protein, I substitute fat burner for it. They do it for me all the time, especially since they don't have what actually goes in it. So this new worker they have (some young lady) who apparently is new and isn't aware, tells another new worker that they don't do it. I explained to her, they have in the past and pretty often too. They've been out of whey protein, this entire week. How I know, because I go every day almost. Right after the gym. After trying to go back and forth with me, I then get irritated and tell her she's new and doesn't know what she's talking about. She then goes off and started using profanity towards me because I told her she needs to find another job. I probably shouldn't have said that, but using profanity wasn't the right reaction from someone who's working in a job environment when customer service is real big. I ended up not getting my smoothie and now is looking for a new tropical smoothie place to go to, because I don't wanna see that young lady again. Because respect is out the window now!!

This is the 3rd tropical location I have tried, and the 3rd to discover pieces of plastic in my smoothie. I now believe this issue is a company issue, not a location issue. See the picture attached, these small pieces of plastic were all throughout my smoothie. They are not soft and breakable like hair. They are stiff and hard. Not sure what they are using to end up with this stuff distributed throughout their smoothies, but I wanted to share the info. Three strikes you’re out trop!

Terrible time, waited in line for 30 minutes one person on smoothies and she was alone doing it while lines gathered and yet nobody came and helped her. by the time i got out i didnt even wanna drink my smoothie
