Poor customer service. The girl seemed very uninterested in being there and we had to ask her if she could take our order. The drinks were not great quality. We got a strawberry green tea with Boba and it looked like chewed up strawberries thrown into our green tea, the flavor was not much better. After reading some of the reviews it appears it can be very hit or miss coming here and for us it was definitely a miss today. The cups are nice though!

i just moved here from florida and this place has become my go to boba spot. the drinks always taste fantastic. the store is always clean. the staff are friendly and kind. i love the glasses they provide the drinks in. it is such a lovely spot. highly recommend to anyone!

Kuma Boba seems inconsistent. I been here a few times and it’s hit or miss for the quality you get. I do like the teas but the toppings especially the boba can taste old / hard which completely ruins the drink.

Cute small boba shop to fight the boba tea cravings; plus they have a drive thru line. I like the glass containers that they put their drinks in. Neat idea and promoting visitors to reuse. You get 10% off drinks for containers that you bring back. We enjoyed their jasmine tea, hk style milk tea, kuma milk tea, and the 24k golden tea. Drinks were not super sweet which is a major plus. They also have toppings that are for free. Fair pricing.

The one reason I go here is because of their tarot coconut milk tea with boba. In my opinion, it is one of the better tasting milk teas I've had anywhere. It's one of my favorites and it's probably the only reason that I go there. They're butterfly. Lemonade is not too bad either. My kids like their spicy tater tots which is not too bad. The only problem is that sometimes I feel it is understaffed and therefore the service can be slow at times, especially at drive-thru. Besides that, it's all good.
I really had high hopes for this place after it was recommended in the Vegan Detroit group on FB, but I was severely disappointed. The young girl at the counter lacked customer service. I asked her right away to confirm that they can cater their drinks to vegans and she replied, “Uhhhh, vegan? Haha, I don’t know, we can do like….non-dairy milk?” And I was like ok, cool. I ordered the Taro Coconut Milk Tea with non-dairy milk. My fiance just ordered a latte with non-dairy milk. After he ordered, she asked him his non-dairy milk preference, which she never asked me, she had no idea what kind of milk I wanted. And when she went to complete the transaction, I chimed in and said do I get the same choices? And she nonchalantly gave me my options. Very sketchy…. To the side I could see a bottle of real milk and another girl making my drink, as she comes over to get ice, she asked “this is with oat milk too?” In a kind of surprised tone.. immediately after drinking it, I felt very sick. It’s been 24 hours of severe stomach pains. I have a very strong suspicion that she used really milk in my drink, or something in the drink went bad. My fiancé had no reaction to his drink.

Omg. Their ‘small’ menu does NOT hinder this place at all. I’ve been here twice now when I’m in the area and every drink has been amazing. They are very kind and helpful. The glass jars are super cool! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I use to go here back in 2020-2021 during Covid so I couldn’t go in. Today my bf and I went in for the first time and the place is so cute! Lady that was in was nice and friendly offered to let us try the sweet cheese cream (so good! They put it on their cold brews).I love the little jars. When we went in they had Valentine’s Day decorations. Super cute. I love how they use glass jars and if you bring them back you get a discount.Their original Kuma milk tea is so good! My bf doesn’t like tapioca pearls so he got a chocolate milk tea with the sweet cream cheese. Both so good!
