Started going here when a family member was in a physical therapy center. I love hot and sour soup and they are one of the few Chinese restaurants that will make it without mushrooms for me (mushroom allergy).

Found this place on accident 2 days ago. We ordered takeout. We had the family meal for 5. There was so much food. It felt more like enough for 7 or 8. The quality was just as good. So today we came back and dined in. They were super busy but we very nice. The food took a little while to come out but it didn't feel like it was too long. Afterwards, the owner came over to apologize, which was nice but unnecessary. We totally recommend this location.
If I could do a 0 would. The food was cold, my dinner Singapore noodles I order medium-up. The flavor of RAW curry spice was gross. My husband ordered House lo mein he read all the veggies he doesn't care for mushrooms... so, of course, I ask for no mushrooms all good there. So as I'm opening the dinners, a Hugh whiff of green pepper smell fills our kitchen. This was not in the description. Needless to say, we both are NOT fans of green peppers. Next time, I won't be lazy and will drive to our favorite place, LC Asian near my house in MadisonHts. We are visiting my mother and thought we would try Lims. So, for $ 60.00 in food, the trash can hopefully enjoy it.

Rice is a little dry and hard .. but the food was delicious ??very nice staff .compared to other Chinese food places. This will be one of the top five.

It looks like every American Chinese restaurant inside. The service is good. They're quick to bring your tea which is complimentary. All dine in meals come with soup and an egg or spring roll so usually by the time the food actually gets there I'm already pretty full which is nice to have leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day. The portions are huge. Gia the owner is so sweet and friendly. She really makes you feel at home. They are so accommodating with my gluten allergy. Probably the most accommodating Chinese restaurant in the area. They even make special dishes off the menu if you request and they aren't slammed. I love their GF orange chicken and their Buddha's delight. Everything there is tasty with lots of veggies and meat, fresh and not greasy. Definitely recommend checking them out!

This was my 2nd visit. First visit was a big bowl of soup w veggies and crunchy rice, then a spring roll, then chicken gai kow. I was very clear I am allergic to gluten, fish, and mushrooms. The food was great, good portions, and I didn't get ill. Today was different. The soup was a cup of egg drop soup w crunchy rice. I think I was served an egg roll, but I was assured it was gluten free. The chicken, after a few bites had mushrooms in it. It was remade, but I carried that out. I wanted to get home. My GI system has been upset this evening. If you don't have food allergies, eat here. The food is great. But if you have food allergies, you take a risk.

The worst Garlic ribs I have ever eaten. How is this place still open? I was excited after finally locating a restaurant that offer garlic ribs. I guess I will continue to drive to Warren for decent Garlic Ribs. The Won Ton soup dumplings were very gummy and chewy. My spouse enjoyed the egg rolls. If you had Garlic Ribs from the former Silver Dragon in Harper Woods, you will be greatly disappointed in Lim's version. Waste of money! Very disappointed I will mix the remaining garlic ribs with my dog's dry dog food. At least she will enjoy the disappointing meal. Expensive dog food! Blah!!!!!!!
Food is always great. We especially love their lunch specials. We stay on nearby Sanibel Island, and always pick up Lim's when we're running errands in Ft Myers.

This Food has a fusion flavor. 3 entrees all had a sweetened flavor, even the creme in the crab puff. Too much Sugar!! The egg roll contents were indistinguishable with more surprising flavors, similar to cinammon or nutmeg seasoning. ?

I don't like posting negative reviews, but I gotta be honest; Lim's was a bad experience. We chose Lim's because it's one of the few Chinese restaurants that still have a dining room.We got our drinks and fried wonton soon enough, but everything else, from ordering, being served and getting the check took way too long. My wife ordered Lemon chicken, but was served sweet and sour chicken. She ate it as not to wait for a corrected order.The manager and one server were trying to process all of the takeout orders as well as serving the in-person diners.We listened while the people in the adjacent booth asked for separate checks. Somehow the issue impacted us receiving our check with scribbling a barely legible cost for each entre.Bottom line, the place was too busy for the staff to handle.
