The best winery in northern Michigan. Small, cozy, best wines and even better service and friendly atmosphere. Hard pressed to find a better view as well. Happy to see its back up in running and the new owner is fantastic. Thanks

If your visiting traverse City area for the winerys then I 110% recommend you put this place on your list. We went to about 10 different winerys but willow winery was the best. I absolutely LOVED every sample. The owner is super sweet and passionate about her business, wine and making sure everyone has a good experience when they visit. Really cute atmosphere as well!

This used to be our favorite winery up north for the views and quaint, small vibe. Unfortunately with the new owner Tracie this experience felt very unrelaxed and tense. Staff was highly micromanaged and treated in a passive aggressive manner by Tracie which made OUR experience there uncomfortable. Understandable to want an elevated experience for guests but continuously barking simple demands to staff from across the room (like taking photos that guests didn’t even ask for or repeatedly saying “CHIPS” until a staff member hears and runs them over to a couple who just sat down) actually made the guest experience awkward and forced.I was about to go out to the patio and Tracie ran over in front of me as I was reaching for the door handle and said “we NEVER let our guests lift a finger” as she opened the door. If this is the service you enjoy then I recommend this place, but I prefer to casually meander around with my wine.Side note: you can’t walk in the vineyards at all. And you can’t go to the patio unless you get a bottle or a glass. I almost felt like I couldn’t get up from where I was sat.Was very sad to see this charming, relaxing, small, cottage like winery turn into a tense/awkward/rushed, commercialized winery with a seemingly poor work environment.The experience would be much improved if Tracie trusted her servers and let them do their jobs.

What a fun little winery, with gorgeous views! The owners are friendly and so welcoming. We enjoyed our bottle of rose on the patio, and loved the view of the bay. We will be back!

Beautiful winery with exceptional service! The views are spectacular ? they reserved us a nice table outside on the patio 20 minutes before we arrived and even brought our 2-year old a goodie basket for him to choose some treats. The rosé was yummy, easy drinking, dry, not too sweet - we enjoyed 2 bottles ? we had a great time!

The winery is situated in a stunning setting, overlooking Lake Michigan, making it a picturesque location. The vineyard itself is absolutely beautiful. Notably, there is a lovely patio area that offers a fantastic view of both the vineyard and the lake. The new owner, Tracey, is incredibly welcoming and adds to the overall charm of the place.

Very little varieties of wine. Tasting was fine. Tracy, the owner, was VERY rude to her staff, multiple times, in front of us. I agree with another review that it's almost like she's trying SO hard to be great that she ruins the experience. I felt like I couldn't relax and enjoy my time here.Their dog, Bo, was the best part of the visit. Bo gets a 10/10.

We stopped at Willow Winery & Vineyards. We were greeted by the owner who warmly welcomed us to her beautiful winery. The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed. The views of the bay were gorgeous. We had a great time and will surely return.

If you want a fun winery experience this is the place to go! There is new ownership who are absolutely amazing! It is such a feel good vibe and has amazing views, they make you feel luxurious!! Also not to mention the wine and the dips were awesome!!! Will definitely be coming back.
