It was very good, but it closed over two years ago! Too bad. It had unique and delicious food. Written on 12/6/2021.

Sad to hear this much loved TC spot has closed, we just enjoyed another wonderful breakfast there last week. Thank you to the BH2 owners for years of truly caring about the quality of the food served, you will be missed. See you in Cadillac.

Try the specials... the pork loin omelet was perfect with grilled apple slices that complemented the pork perfectly. 3/16/2019 so sad to read the Blue Heron 2 has closed. We so depended on the gluten free menu options and consistently good selections over the years. You will be missed so much in our community.

Fabulous gluten-free options! I had gluten-free French toast with tasty sausage patties.

Best gourmet breakfast in TC. Unique omelets, skillets. Home made breads and the sour dough starter is 100 yrs old. They have best gluten free bread I have ever eaten. Home made jam. Coffee is the best too. Many gf and df options.

Excellent place, nice variety of gluten free for my friend and unusually good options overall.

Found this place randomly on my drive out of TC. Park on the street (meters). It's a decent sized place. Has a cozy vibe to it, with tables and booths and sunlight shining through the windows. The menu is small but packs a punch. Coffee is good (but overpriced). The chorizo bowl with the wheat sourdough bread was AWESOME. Their hot sauce has a nice kick to it too. It was a lot of food...like, I ate at 10:30 a.m. and I don't plan to eat again until this evening. It's that filling and delicious. Service is good, bathrooms are clean. Nice little gem with some good cooks.

I am only rating because I have been there a few times with many people and just a couple. Every time the food is great and service spectacular. The kitchen crew does a great job from the details (egg poached perfectly) to the variety. Variety with high quality — I get something different every time, and the kitchen has hit a home run each time!

I was so excited to find a place that really values quality sourdough products! My husband and I don't eat bread/grains unless they're naturally leavened, and this really hit the spot. Sourdough pancakes were so good! They had a sourness that reminded me of yogurt and blueberries. The bacon that came with them was so good too, not the cheap floppy/chewy kind you get in restaurants a lot. The duck omelette was also delicious. Service was great for us (last Saturday around 9am). Will go back next time we're in town!

Quaint cafe/restaurant serving hearty, delicious breakfast choices. Highly recommend the Farmers Omlette; like nothing I've ever had before. Fresh, thoughtful ingredients. Delicious house-made bakery/bread. Sourdough bread is outstanding. Crave-able, give you the "warm fuzzies" kinda food. Go there.
