We visited today as part of the winter wine pass in TC. This was easily the worst winery on the stop, as you cannot choose your tastings, but they have pre-chosen flights. When a manager stopped by and asked how everything was, I gave my opinion that flights should be chosen by the customer with the hopes of buying a bottle based on their taste. She responded "well we can't please everyone". This winery gave me the only negative experience in the many years we have been coming to the city, plus the wine was horrible... but that might be because they chose the wines for us.

4 of us where on a girl's trip WITH a driver and they would not serve us because "she is obviously over serviced and we don't want to lose our license". "she" WAS NOT EVEN DRUNK, NONE OF US WERE DRUNK!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!They made us drink water before we could order but wouldn't let us order.AGAIN, I WILL NOT GO BACK!!

I was extremely disappointed with our experience at your winery. We were having a fabulous day celebrating the engagement of my best friends soon to be daughter-in-law. When we first got in we were laughing not causing any disturbance and we were treated with pure rudeness and condescending attitude from the girls behind the bar. I totally understand the responsibility of not serving people who they felt may have be in danger of driving. We had a designated driver that we specifically paid for our tour. We notOnly introduced him but we were told they would not serve us. Your loss… best check out the service in wineries around you, where we laughed and enjoyed. My suggestion to anyone is go to Bry’s, Chanteu Chantal and Bonobos.. excellent wine and great service. We will never go back to Bowers

Selection is great, but good luck if you’re not a member. We came here for a tasting and received such horrible service because we were not members. They made it extremely clear to us that if we were not members, we had to sit outside (in freezing snow weather instead of inside).

Refused to serve us because we were laughing. We had a driver and were hoping to have flight. We even showed them we had a driver. They were pretentious and rude. Other tables enjoyed our company. I have been there before however will never go there again.

Visited one of our previous favorite wineries today and we were quite disappointed. We could not get a flight of choice and the least expensive flight was 28 dollars. The server literally sat with her face in her computer at a short distance from us. It was quite uncomfortable and I missed the atmosphere we had previously had and the conversation you look for when visiting establishments like that! Will not be back and that makes me sad!

Fun place to visit any time of the year. Good wine nice views and atmosphere.

I only tried the red wines, they were all ok, service was, ok. Dropped a star for being a little pricey, dropped another star for not accepting legal tender, they are card only. In fact, this will keep us from recommending or returning, not accepting cash.

Amazing wine and atmosphere. Sitting by a fire in early February was amazing. Highly recommend.

Winery was nice. Servers nice. I am giving one star for the tipping etiquette employed. Upon paying for flight was informed that gratuity was already pre-selected at 20%. To me, this is poor etiquette - tip is given *after* service is received *or* service is freely given without prompt at the discretion of your guest. Not pre-selected by cashier up front.** I appreciate the owner response. To be clear, your staff *did* indeed pre-select the 20% tip. I was informed they were pre-selecting it for me and watched them press the button, but this is my complaint on etiquette - this is for the customer to select themselves.

We were late for our reservation by about 15 minutes but we're greeted with big smiles and warm welcomes. What a great start to a visit! We were told to sit wherever we wanted and were quickly given menus. Once we let them know we had the winter pass we were given a very pared down list with only 3 pours. We were given the option to add on two more pours for $5 total (not each). I try not to be wasteful. We visited 10 wineries in the time we were in the TC area and this is the only place we left wine on the table. While we were there, there was never more than one other table occupied. When our flights were brought out we were immediately what our total was and we were expected to be paid immediately. Um, what? It's not busy, we were a group of 3 with two of us being middle aged. It's not like we were going to drink and dash. One of our group members said, "ok, we'll pay when we're done" and she last kind of stammered "ok, I'll leave your tab open." That was so tacky. It really put me off on the whole experience there. With all the wineries and cideries in the area we will not be back to this one, despite the beautiful setting.

I had the Barbie flight and some chips and green onion/ white cheddar dip. A bit pricey, but excellent quality and stupendous service.

Very poor service! Walked in and no one said hi. They didn’t come over to help us for five minutes. It was completely dead. The two girls that were working were just talking to each other in the corner. They eventually came over, didn’t really explain anything, very unfriendly, not a very welcoming atmosphere
