We were in town for my daughter's bachlorette party and decided on Sorellina for dinner after reading the reviews. We were not disappointed at all. Carter took excellent care of us. He made wonderful recommendations and was joking with us all night. It was a busy night but Carter was still very attentive and made sure our dinner was special.I would highly recommend Sorellina and Carter for a wonderful dining experience!

Had dinner here while in traverse city for a bachelorette party. There were 6 of us so we were given a wait time of an hour and 20 minutes. I’m not sure if Sorellina is always this busy but it was definitely packed the night we went. Dinner was well worth the wait. Between the 6 of us, we all got different dishes and loved them all. I enjoyed the carbonara. My friend really enjoyed the tips and fungi. What really made our time here great was our server, Carter. You could tell that Carter was extremely busy while we were there. Regardless, he paid great attention to our table. All of his food recommendations were a hit. The next time I find myself in Traverse City, I will definitely be dining here again and asking for Carter to be my server.

We came here to celebrate a birthday dinner with a party of 4. We had a 30 minute wait which wasn't bad considering it was Saturday evening around 6.We were seated and greeted within the first 5 minutes by our waitress. The atmosphere was great but that was the only pleasing part of our experience. It took nearly 30 minutes to get our drink order as our waitress was MIA. We finally got our drinks and throughout the rest of the nearly 3 hours we were there, were only offered one more attempt at getting refills or additional drinks. We finished our drinks and our order was still not taken. Fast forward another 30 minutes, we finally get to place our order. It was like we were purposely not being waited on - as the table of older couples right next to us had their every want and need attended to by the same waitress. When our waitress would stop by, it'd be less than 5-10 seconds and she'd be gone for another 20-30 minutes. Finally our food comes. I had the Chicken Marsala and it was pretty good. My wife's dish looked like it had enough food for a small child - literally 5 bites later and it was gone. So, here we sit again. Food has been eaten, drinks are empty and not a waitress in sight. Once again we don't see her for another 30 minutes. All I wanted to do was pay and get the hell out of here and end this terrible experience. Even that was difficult to do. ?It took us another 20 minutes to be cashed out and eventually leave. Reading the reviews, it's like you either have a phenomenal night or a night like ours. I honestly wouldn't take the gamble, there's far better dining experiences in this town.Without a doubt this was the top 3 worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. Oh, and the table next to us got their birthday treat, did I get mine? I'm sure you guessed right - a solid no.I'll never eat here again and I recommend you don't either.

I went for Easter brunch and I am speechless. First off, the atmosphere in this place is amazing. The lighting, the service, the fixtures and touches just sets this place above and beyond others. Their wine list is great with tons of local selections. Perfect place for date night!!

Great good Italian food, particularly the unique dishes. The wife particularly loves the tips and fungi. In fact she never had anything else. The wine list is reasonably priced for a restaurant. They provide great recommendations if you are at a loss of what wine to get. The restaurant is one of the larger ones on Front street so there are better odds of getting a table even if you don't have a reservation.

We had a fabulous dinner for my birthday! The food was outstanding and our server Kaci Clayton was even better than the food!! Kaci sang Happy Birthday to me when she brought out my carrot cake that was delicious! We will be going back and asking for Kaci for our server in the very near future! Thank you Kaci for making my birthday that much better!!

I had probably one of the worst weeks of 2024 and I needed to end the work week with no cooking, family time, and a rich meal.I took my parents here and it was our first time trying to place. We had a fabulous time! The food was excellent and our server Jess was incredible. I appreciate her little touches like the work of art in our bread and oil.Excellent food and a beautiful restaurant. The caprese salad had the sweetest tomatoes.

LOVE the chicken pacata. So so good!! I was debating between 4 and 5 stars, 4 only because the dish does vary on the night we go, it is not always the same, but it is never bad! Just better some nights.

Will have to come back during a non-RW time as the food was just okay and felt bad that our server was so busy and no one was really helping. Had to ask staff for water a few too many times and utensils. The tiramisu dessert was definitely the best out of everything we tasted followed by the Surf and Turf.

Very good main course for restaurant week BUT, desert, which they charged extra for was the worst I’ve had. Tiramisu was so hard I couldn’t cut into it with my fork and my wife’s cannoli had zero taste. Great meal but felt ripped off on desert. Told server and got a thanks for the feedback.

Great food, service and drinks!!!Seafood pasta selections are fabulous along with a solid wine list.I have been here a few times over the past 5 years and have always had a fantastic dining experience.I was surprised to see so many negative reviews.Although, Traverse City is a seasonal resort town without a ton of professional wait staff (for the that reason)...so maybe give the kids working at some of these places a break.

Came here during a girls weekend and service was incredibly disappointing. Apps were out and finished before drinks were delivered. Entrees were lacking. Bummer this didn’t live up to the hype.
