Hot tea is lovely. High quality ingredients, small local business, passionate chefs and staff, all very kind. For TC, this sushi is great, and it's so nice to have them here. One thing I hope one day they might add to their menu is tempura sweet potato roll!Parking: Kind of tucked away up in the old elementary school. My husband and I are coming in from Chicago to visit family and I just ordered 5 roles after 5 hours of driving. We just placed all of them on my car and ate them in the crisp air and afternoon sunshine. Absolutely DELICIOUS and high quality fish. I love that the rolls are simple because the quality of the ingredients really get to be the star of the show. We will be back!!
As real sushi experience as you can get on Northern Michigan, they serve things that I have not seen since living in Japan. Always coming back for carry out and dine in.
Stopped by this afternoon. The experience was PHENOMENAL…never been disappointed. Brent the owner is a true magician. Highly recommend anyone in the mood for sushi, needs to come to this magical restaurant!!!!

I got 5 rolls seven spice roll,Alaskan,seared salmon, spicy tuna and a cali. One thing is that the tuna is legit it’s not carp with food coloring or something as well as the food is fresh and rolled right in front of u and seared salmon is seared in front as well. The employees are nice and caring and will have conversations with you overall it’s a great experience and def the best sushi place in Michigan.

First time diners and was very impressed. High quality sushi, fresh and colorful the way it should be. Owners were personable, knowledgeable and had a comfortable welcoming space. Easy parking and location. Definitely will go againParking: I avoid downtown because I’m terrible at parallel parking. I also am directionally challenged so have to trust my phone info on locations. Dojo is easy to find and park. Plus a bonus…the food was top notch.
