Visited for the first time during Restaurant Week and had an amazing experience. Our waiter Jim was very charming and attentive, making my friend and I feel very relaxed and welcome as each course was served. I chose to add the optional wine pairing and my friend enjoyed their Lady Lavender cocktail which I tried a little sample of. Our drinks were delicious, the wines complementing each dish perfectly. We learned Jim is also the sommelier and curated the wine selections for the menu. He definitely did an excellent job. I started the meal with the Octopus that was cooked perfectly, very tender which can be tricky. She had the Lamb Arancini and joked it would difficult to eat regular meatballs again. We both had the Morel Bisque and raved about the creaminess and how flavorful it was. Entree for me was the Scallops, again cooked perfectly and the Lobster Risotto was amazing. I savored every bite, wishing I could have another serving of the risotto. She tried the Veal Osso Bucco and commented how it was the best way to try a dish for the first time. She even had a bonus taste of bone marrow. The only miss in our main dishes was the Blue Cheese Polenta. Her Lemon Blueberry Butter Cake and my Creme Brulee were the perfect ending to our experience, both just enough to satisfy our sweet tooth. We both plan to visit again and try their regular menu and will be recommending our friends give this gem a try.

Great service and the whiskey selection was awesome. Filet mignon I ordered was cooked rare perfectly however the grade of the meat was as tough as a sizzler.

We had never been to the TR so went for restaurant week. Our waitress Kalli was great but we were not too impressed with the food. My burrata was excellent. Morel soup was tasty but not even warm and my ravioli was fried and hard to cut. Nice environment and location though.

The food was good. It was not great or amazing. By that, I mean the off menu Elk came cooked as "Chefs choice" per the waiter. Several at the table ordered it. And it came out mid-well at the best and mostly well done. The sauce was a fruit jam with charred onions. Elk is very lean, so if you're going to cook well done it would ideally be with a sauce that has fat to carry it. I suspect it would have been much better, medium rare, but that wasn't chefs choice, and I'm not one to send it back unless it really was bad. The broccolini char and perfectly cut purple potatoes were nice but couldn't carry the lack luster elk medallions.Great atmosphere and helpful server. Just not the dining experience we were looking for.

Had a bit of a pill for a bartender but the restaurant is great! I'm sure their other bartenders are just fine.

The server did a great job of informing us of drink selections and popular food items. We liked the atmosphere. The food was excellent and deserts were delicious!

The food is overpriced. Pizzas were okay, but very small for the price. I had a Blueberry lavender lemonade which tasted like pure Blueberry simple syrup. Way too sweet. However, our waiter got me a lemon to add to make it taste better. Definitely NOT a 4.6 restaurant. More like a 4 or less in my book. Heading to The Parlor for drinks and food to fill us up!

The ambiance, the service, the drinks and the food were all amazing. This is one of the best places in Traverse City. Our waiter was Arthur and he was excellent.

The food was good and service a little slow due to lack of sufficient staff. Our first time here, had their N Y Strip with potatoes and broccoli. Had about 4 small potatoes left and found numerous hairs on my plate. I didn't say anything to our server, but my wife and I may not dine there again. Meals are overpriced.

Seated quickly a little before 5pm and after patiently sitting for 15 minutes we flagged down a gal serving a table, who happened to be in mgt of some kind, and 3-4 minutes later our waiter appeared apologizing for not knowing he was seated. In summary: the food took forever, we had 3 apps and then a salad and 2 pizzas. our second bottle of wine, while the same vintner, they opened and poured with having one of us taste, the Goat Cheese app for $14 or $16 was two golf ball size croquettes, pizza's were bland and I'd bet $100 on purchased pre-formed crusts, and we had to flag our waiter down for the check even though the bus girl cleared us 10 minutes earlier. The atmosphere is nice, new, but I think I will wait and see if they make it before spending another $135 night there.
