One of the cutest and fairly priced restaurants/cafe I’ve ever been too! The food was great and their coffee was even better. Had a very friendly atmosphere and the service was amazing!

Excellent place to eat. Takes a little bit of time to get your food with the small staff, but absolutely the friendliest and best people work there, and the food was great. Really enjoyed it.

The food was bland which was disappointing after waiting a long time (45 minutes for pancakes and eggs) with lots of excuses from the staff.

I have just recently retired and I'm just starting to go out for breakfast. The food was prepared perfectly. Our waitress was great. This now my favorite place for breakfast.

My family and I stopped mainly for the beignets, but also for a brunch. It was a wonderful experience, they were very accommodating for our large family and were very kind. The food (and beignets) were great and reasonably priced. We will absolutely return.

TWO THUMBS UP!!! What this cozy little diner lacks in hours, they more than make up for in quality! Everything we ordered was cooked to PERFECTION. Compliments to the chef.
Everyone here is so friendly & the food is awesome! Prices are low compared to many other places. We came here 2 times for breakfast during our 3 day stay. Highly recommend:)

Our family visited the Traverse Bay Café for a Sunday morning breakfast, and it was all around great. Great food, Great service, Great atmosphere all topped off with ‘90s grunge playing in the background which earns the place an extra star in my book! Our server was exceptional, engaging with everyone at our table and apologetic for what could be a long wait for breakfast because they were short staffed. The cook did a great job and the setting made us indifferent about the wait, which was not that long. The food: I had homemade corn beef hash and Sunnyside up eggs with a side of bacon and their signature baked fresh Cuban bread. In addition to the food, they have a nice selection of coffee drinks including a variety of flavors, my daughter had a toasted marshmallow latte.Every table was full by the time we left, and I can understand the popularity, so sit back, relax enjoy your coffee and soak in the experience while you wait for a table and hearty breakfast.
We’ve come here a couple of times now. This last time they only had one chef in the kitchen and were very apologetic and let us know ahead of time. The wait still wasn’t much longer than usual and very much so worth it. Everything was delicious once again and the service was fantastic and friendly, highly recommend taking a loaf of bread to go.

I love this place! My boyfriend and I have gone twice now on our annual trips to Traverse City. Despite being understaffed, the service is amazing and the food is too. It is totally worth the (really only slightly longer than normal) wait.
