Awesome food, great service, really nice cozy spot, fair prices and big portions. It's exactly what you would want out of a small local diner. This is our spot now!

My wife and I absolutely love Willie's Rear. We're 20 miles from Traverse City and whenever we go to TC we try to time it to enjoy breakfast or lunch at Willie's. We love the atmosphere and Jim (owner and chef) provides great food at a great price. Beth is far more than a waitress. She serves everyone as though they are her best friends. If you happen to be there when Jim's Tomato Soup is available, it's by far the best you'll ever taste!

I came for the corned beef hash and they were OUT. Instead I got a standard breakfast instead. Perfectly cooked eggs over easy, homemade hash browns, toast and exceptional bacon with a deep smoky flavor.

Very good mom and pop kinda diner. We went here for breakfast. All four of our meals were great. Our waitress was working alone. She was very efficient and gave awesome service. Coffee was always full. Food came out very quickly after ordering. Portions were good size for cost. Try the Hot Willie's sauce!
