I visit usually for the weekend buffet.. been a fan of this restaurant for years… best items are the chicken biryani/ hot tandoori chicken and bread (my signature items)..I love this restaurant by all means but here are my negative remarks:1. one think I can’t stand is that some food items are best when served “hot” and “warm” wouldn’t be enough to enjoy (Dal tadka)2 when I as for a second round of chicken (main item I live at this place), this one guy gets me one piece instead of the normal 2 usually served.. you should either ask me and not assume I can ONLY handle one more piece.. you should show generosity to keep your customers happier.. it doesn’t hurt to ask.. because i would end up asking for more… charge me more but don’t be stingy on my beloved tandoori chicken (it was the waiter with the glasses).3. Salt also tasted salty and sweet at the same time.. wouldn’t order again..4. Noticed a small change on the food selection, I would charge more and put finer food selection (customers would be willing to pay).Thanks and regards

Okay I’m never the one to complain or leave a review but I’ve been coming to this place for over 15 years and yesterday was the first time I didn’t enjoy their service or food… the owner was out of town so I see why things were out of hand.First off the waiter we had was super rude I can’t even begin to explain… He was super rushy when I was ordering ? I was asking about the Khandhari Naan and he acted like there was no such thing and the only naan on the menu is garlic naan.. so I had to point out to him on the menu…We also ordered garlic naan and he never put the order in… I ordered onion pakora as a appetizer and it came as large onion rings not the traditional way … I make onion pakoras and had them many times in India.. I asked the waiter to take it back and he had a super rude approach saying “oh well this is how we have been making them for 2 years” … Okay well this is not the way I remember Ashoka making them cause I got my wedding catering from here … ALL TO IT I’m not paying for something I’m not going to eat so he took it back after he continued with his attitude.We got the Lamb Koorma and it was good , the butter chicken wasn’t good at all it was soar taste like straight up tomato paste… my favorite dish from here was the butter chicken and it was horrible yesterday… The bus boy was a older man and he was super sweet we gave him a tip. Also another man wearing a white shirt who I believe was the manager was really nice and understanding as to why I was not going to tip this horrible waiter we had … He told us to please come again when the owner is back is on the 27th. I was super shocked cause I loved this resturant… over all my experience with the waiter that wasn’t even doing his job had the other men do it for him … led me to never want to come here again and I will not recommend it to anyone I know ever. We also got charged a bit more for the dishes & it was less on the menu …. Zero stars.

Amazing! We frequent here probably 2-3 times a month. The atmosphere is warm, mood lighting and welcoming environment. The food is soooooooooo good!!! 10/10 The service is always fast as well.

Im surprised to see such positive reviews. Im usually not one to leave bad reviews, but I am nauseous as I write this from the butter chicken (mild) I ordered for carryout, If you are one that orders butter chicken, please stay away from this place. No exaggeration when I say it tasted and looked like old shaved Coney Island chicken with Campbell’s tomato soup sauce it had no authentic flavor and was genuinely hard to eat, but i forced myself since I paid for it & was starving. :( I questioned it being chicken, it tasted like rotten pork with camphells soup. There was also an odd gray color to the chicken unless they use dark chicken compared to other places which I’ve never seen before. The naan was amazing and it came with both naan and rice, which is great. Service/atmosphere was great but I don’t think I will be back unless I try something different. I was really excited to try out this place and enjoy a meal after a long shift. I am not indian but know that that is in no way how it should taste compared to others I have had. False advertisement. And this is coming from a low-maintenance person who is not picky about most foods (ive been in the service/food industry for 4 years) In the nicest way possible: the recipe should be changed and I wish the best to the company.

Very first try at this restaurant, we did a pick up. Phenomenal! Food was delicious, the spice levels were spot on (several orders of "mild" and one "hot", all were pleased) - one person had never tried Indian cuisine before and she was a huge fan! I'm excited to try dine in!
