“Norman was the kindest when I stumbled upon his Cafe while in Troy! Was here for work and saw the awesome reviews so decided to check it out. While there, he was so sweet to offer the rest of my work crew (who was working out in the cold, rain that night) a cannister of coffee for everyone! Thank you so much, Norman! Amazing coffee and service! :)“
“I’ve personally been here multiple times, and every time they have great service and great food and for the most part, it is all healthy based on your own preference and delicious. If I could come here every day, I would this is by far my favorite small restaurant for açaí bowls!Vegetarian options: There is no meat at this store.“
“Friendly staff and great coffee/food. I go here almost every day and am greeted with smiles without fail. They even went ahead and wrote down my order next to the cashier because I always get the same thing. On rough days, stopping in for just a few minutes at this location gives me a lift. It’s my permanent coffee spot.“
“Atmosphere is great, variety of foods, authentic flavors. The coffee is amazing, and I prefer over the major store brands. Nice amount of outlets if you are doing work, cozy, bathroom might be my only issue, but other than that, I highly recommend and enjoyed my time and will be back again. It is also great for groups and getting the pots of beverages for the table. If they had a breakfast sandwich type of item, I would say perfect, but their sweets and pastries are delicious, and even the edible flowers on the pastry I had were divine, and the quality would impress your friends.“
“THE FOOD WAS GOOD!WHAT?!?! THE RUDE WAS FOOLED??I SAID, THE FOOD WAS GOOD!!!WHAT?!?! THE FUEL WAS GOO???Yeah, the back room is very loud. I was literally shouting at the person next to me at my table just to carry a conversation. I didn't even try to converse with my 77 year old father opposite the table from me.If your hearing is anything less than perfect, make sure you sit at the bar or in the front room.BTW, the food was "good".“
“The Maiko special offers a little bit of everything for you to try. Definitely enough to share for two people for a responsible dessert.A bit cold there in the winter and you'll only feel colder in the winter months while you eat ice cream. Was pretty quiet there when we went and the staff seemed to be prepping a bunch of items in the back, but was still able to take care of us.If you like matcha it's worth a stop to try out, as the matcha ice cream itself was very tasty on its own without any of the toppings or goodies.“
“My friend and I stopped in for a relaxing coffee moment while another friend shopped next door at Aritzia. The latte and almond croissant were top notch - as was the people watching! The aesthetic of the cafe is relaxed and on trend. I would recommend this cute cafe for a pick me up while shopping at Somerset!“
“I went to the bakery next door and this place sparked my interest. I went in not knowing a thing and cashier was super kind and knowledgeable, and asked just the right questions to get me what I like. I ended up getting a couple of drinks which had to be the best drinks I’ve ever had. I also got the popcorn chicken. It was juicy, crunchy, and the chicken was melt in your mouth soft. Can’t say enough good things about this place. I was beyond impressed.“
“Umai cafe is the perfect spot for lunch after a winter hike. The cafe is clean & cozy and the staff were very kind. The food was good and the chocolate avocado smoothie was decadent. The miso soup and potato salad taste fresh. The cafe has a projector to play video clips and gentle music to create a pleasant atmosphere. The cafe is tucked into the corner of a strip mall, and is situated next to a fitness studio that unfortunately has no soundproofing so for a portion of our visit the loud noise had a negative impact on the experience.I look forward to visiting again and love that there is a local spot for avocado smoothies and fresh onigiri.“
“This was my first time at Fox and Hounds Pastry Den, but definitely not my last :) Monica was so nice and worked with me to make a giant black and white cookie! When picking the giant cookie up, I was admiring the baked goods beautifully lined up in the case and succumbed to the temptation of the bumpy cake cupcake. Both the cookie and cupcake were delicious. Between the delicious treats and Monica’s creativity and kindness, this place is a gem!“
“BUY THE BEANS! I visited recently and ordered an americano and picked up a bag of Costa Rica beans that were at the counter. It has only been 3 days and my bag is almost gone. This coffee has an incredible flavor and I was happy to see it can be ordered online - already stocked up! Excellent coffee, so glad I found this great coffee shop!“
“I'm a big fan of Ube flavored foods. And this was the first time trying cotton cake because I heard that they had Ube flavored Japanese cheesecake. The cake was moist and fluffy, wasn't too sweet, it was pretty good for a Japanese cheesecake, but the flavor didn't really have that authentic Ube taste to it. I've tried other Japanese cheesecakes and this place is good, but not as comparable to the others I've had. The employees were kind and attentive. And the place itself was very cute. They have a different variety of ice creams, pastries and cakes. The cheesecake with Nutella and pistachio was pretty tasty.“
“Best boba place around this area! Their handmade boba is always chewy and the drink is fresh! You can customize your own cup with your choice of ice and sweet level together with your choice of different bobas. I love the special weekend peach bobas! Their new product JUICY GRAPE is the BEST! A good place to chill with your friends.“
“Troy’s location has been my go to since the pandemic. Ngl this marked my boba obsession. I have tried from multiple branches but nth beats this place in terms of taste. It is quite a bit of drive for me but it has always been worth it. I don’t even mind if it’s busier now. This is hands down my fave boba spot in MI. I always introduce boba to my friends and family through this place. I have experimented with different flavors and ended up with the go tos of taro milk tea (the best of all the boba places I have tried), lychee and mango flavored tea with desired toppings. I lowkey wish Quickly would introduce fusion drinks like NYC’s Pyochai.“
“Lovely spacious place with friendly staff and quick service. Oat milk chai latte was tasty and extra hot as requested. Regular latte was great as well. Location has lots of seatings and nice bright interior. This is also one of the top rated Starbucks locations in the area and that is for a reason. Place is nicely taken care of. Will be coming back“
“First time here and they have earned a lifetime customer. The atmosphere is a nice, warm environment. I will bring my friends next time as they offer free games to play. The macchiato was one of the best I have had. I can't wait to try more drinks the next time I stop by!“
“Had absolutely fantastic service from Dylan the store manager! He was not only so friendly, but was so thoughtful to have great suggestions and wipe down our table to make sure we had a great experience. We talked to him about how important customer service is and he was so passionate about it, very refreshing. We will be back again soon! Thank you Dylan!“
“Ebar Artisan Coffee is the definition of chic in the coffee scene. From the moment you step in, the ambiance oozes sophistication, creating the perfect backdrop for indulging in finely crafted beverages. The baristas are true artisans, turning every cup into a masterpiece. Whether you're sipping on a meticulously brewed espresso or relishing a velvety latte, each sip is a journey through flavor. Ebar is not just a coffee shop; it's a haven for those who appreciate the artistry of a well-brewed cup in a setting that effortlessly blends style and substance.“
“Located inside of a large office-like building, I feel like this is a hidden gem that is bound to blow up! This was my first time going and I will definitely be back. The menu is compact but awesome & their flavors did not disappoint. I should also add that the service was incredibly friendly. We had delicious sandwiches and I can't wait to try their breakfast.“
“My order was fine here, however the app never said that my order was ready, and the staff never called my name, so my coffee sat a long while before I knew it was ready. The place was really busy, so no one tended tables and they were sticky and crumby, and the floor was dirty. Not my favorite Starbucks experience.“
“Best staff. Best service. Best everything. These people saved me postpartum with their smiles, warming positive attitudes, and loving on me and my baby. I had a reflux baby, went through PPD, and was a stay at home mom that felt so lonely at times. I think they could tell. They made sure my coffee was right during those sleepless nights and days. My baby will be two this week and they all still love on me and her. They write little encouraging notes on my coffee and everything! It's just unlike any other place.“
“They were fast, friendly & good. I often swap dairy for oatmilk and cannot notice the difference in taste or feel. I wish target Starbucks accepted app orders but glad they still give points on orders.Kid-friendliness: My daughter likes their various breakfast sandwiches as an anytime snack. And of course the Pink Drink, pumpkin spice everything & many of their fun seasonal drinks. Oatmilk for the lactose sensitive!“
“We had the mango cloud cake slice, blueberry cloud cake slice, tiramisu latte, and the honey lavendar latte. All were amazing and 10/10. The cake wasn't too sweet but instead a more subtle taste (my favorite), tasted like the actual fruit in its name, and had the fruit in it. The honey lavendar has a stronger taste of sweetness and lavendar. Get it iced. The tiramisu latte we got hot and it was also not sweet and a more subtle tiramisu taste. The cake slices were $6-$7 a slice. The lattes $5-$5.50. Reasonable prices. The service was great. There is a nice seating area inside and outside. Our favorite cafe/bakery place in Troy. Will come again.“
