I'll review on my recent and probably last visit to Kroger in Troy, MO. On checkout, I prefer to use a staffed lane. They had six "self checkout" lanes open and three were inoperative. They had one staffed checkout lane, and by the time I got through there were six customers with full carts behind me. Thankfully, there is a Schnuck's in Wentzville on my way home from work. I'll be spending my money there, and when they go to self checkout only, I'll be buying all of my non-perishable items online. Sad to see the decline of brick and mortar stores.

Most employees are vey nice. Eileen is one very miserable person. I try and avoid her line or the self serve if she is working that. I'm a senior citizen, shopping with my autistic grandson. Today she yelled at me for scanning my Kroger card before she told me to. She said she was not ready yet. The customer before me was already finished and had left. Then she yelled at my Grandson, he was trying to help bag. she said what's wrong with you. I mentioned this to two other people, they both said who was it. Eileen ???So I am not the only one. Maybe they should give her a job in the back room, keep her away from the public. It's a shame that a trip to the store has to put a damper on a good day.

At self checkout in Whitelake, Gabe was rude and argumentative. As the customer line grew longer, he proceeded to give me a hard time about a coupon for an item because it was on sale. Hopefully he can get some more training about his job process, because he did not do a good job, in addition he stood way to close and there was a concern with oder. Not a good experience.

Every time I come into the store the money service is down , tried 2 pm , 3pm , 4 pm and so on ! Online it says 8 and when you try to talk to an associate they have a nasty attitude. Will not shop there.

My experience here today was very upsetting. I've been going to this location for five years and have never had a problem. But today, the employee working at the dairy section was extremely rude. I POLITELY asked her if the milk was in stock and she rolled her eyes and said i'll have to contact someone from my department. After a few minutes she went into the employee room and didn't return for a long time. I waited over 20 minutes!! At this time, more people had gathered around for the same item. When she finally came out, I approached her again. She threw the box she was carrying on the floor and started giving me attitude and talking to me in a rude tone. She finally went back and restocked the milk. AND no apology!!! The other customers I talked to also said she was rude to them. Do not recommend this location and will not be returning.

I don’t understand why Krogers isn’t requiring employees to wear masks. They are asking shoppers but not staff even the manager is maskless. Yesterday I watched as an employee sneezed( no tissue) in the produce area. Fruits and vegetables all out in the open, as were the bags she was filling for customer pickup. You know those shoppers who are worried about getting sick, so they use the pick up option. Do I think Kroger cares about keeping people safe - NO!

I am referring to the Kroger’s in Sterling Heights on 18 mile road

I worked at this Kroger for 10 years and I warn each and all not to shop here or eat the food from here. You have nothing but incompetent sociopaths handling your food and displaying it on the shelves every day. The older crowd here refuses to retire so they stick around and make the entire store miserable while corporate Kroger rules with an iron fist and operates stores that function like a soap opera. The union is completely useless and do nothing good for the public. Do not support this company or this store in particular as it is damaging to the local communities.

Yesterday my experience was really bad at this store, had a question about my Kroger card at the customer service desk and was talked to very rudely by the ACSMs , also they were being overly nosy. Very disrespectful people. There are other stores that are better than this location.

Returnable machines are in horrible condition. Staff and management is slow to react.
