Hadn't visited in years. It's only Norm's on Thursdays and Fridays now. They've removed all the booths in favor of making it into a rental hall. Will have to look into their rates.

Handmade food to go with quality service. Loved the bases as barstools. Service for a full bar and and tables was faster than one could expect. Nice neighborhood joint.

There aren't many places that will ever compare to Norm's. Some places pride themselves on customer service. Let me tell you about that. Walking in and seeing Nick pour you and your colleagues each a tall glass of Labatt before you are within 15 steps of the bar. Name another place where you can listen to 1700s sea shanties, watch the big game, play 7 rounds of billiards and shut down the bar while incurring a tab of under $20 after quietly throwing back 18 cold ones. That's Norm's. The Cheers theme song was played on the second to last night, which brought out a lot of emotions in the regulars. One guy was so shook up he had to be walked back to his studio on Gooddale Avenue by the bouncer. This was single-handedly the best bar in Oakland County. Please, Norm bring it back!

Went to a company party and our party was carded before we could purchase drinks. We were the only table that was carded out of more than 10 tables were full . I don’t know if it was a racist thing or not but it seemed that way. We had to ask the waiter for a menu for 16 people. Half of us wasn’t able to order because the wait staff ignored us the whole time we were there. 7 days later, we were told that half of our tab wasn’t paid for even tho we all paid on separate bills. I then had to go back to the bar and pay because I couldn’t prove if it’s true or not and the company name was on the tab. I will never go back to work that establishment no matter what name they change it too.. I was told their closing down on Today. But that usually means the name will change but the staff will remain the same located on the corner of Rankin and Rochester Rd.

Cute little bar, but the nachos were nasty...soggy chips with a large amount of lettuce and little cheese and few olives. Drink prices were okay though.

Excellent wait staff. Band was excellent, too.
Great music and good service
Good place to hang out. Wait staff is great but sometimes they seem to be understaffed. Other than that its always very good
Grear place to grab a drink at the bar and watch Saturday college football. There was a good band playing and the bartender was very friendly.
I went in today, just for the food and there wasn’t a cook...not very happy
