This is a great diner/restaurant. The food and service were excellent. I wish they were opened later than 8pm.

Food was great and the diner was cute. The older woman there was pretty rude, but the younger workers were friendly.

Maple leaf is a staple for my boyfriend and I. I'm a sucker for a good diner and this one is at the top of my list. Exceptional food and reasonable prices combined with a terrific wait staff makes this place a true joy each and every visit. P.S. they also have fantastic ranch.

Ordered a pancake breakfast. My eggs were cold when my plate came to the table. I received no syrup for my pancakes and didn't get the opportunity to ask for it because the waitress never came back. My bill was left at another table and given to me by the other patrons at that table. I received 1 refill of tea, I would have appreciated another if I had the chance. I grabbed salt from another empty table since my wait staff failed to help me.I have no plans to return since the experience was not up to par.

Went here for breakfast with a group of 8. The place was not busy at all when we got there which is why we chose to go here. The experience was terrible! The waitress had taken our order and then a rush of people came in and she took their orders and forgot to put our table order in. My group was wondering why everyone around us who came after us was getting their orders before us so we asked the manager. He went to check and we could hear the kitchen yelling back at him that they just got the order and it would take 15mins. We had been waiting about 40mins by then. So he came back and told us we just ordered! Which we were like no because we got here around 11:15am and now its 12pm. So we waited but the waitress has been ignoring our table for some time and we ran out of water in our glasses.Flagged the manager down again and was trying to ask for water and he gave us a response like 'you can have whatever you want but you have to wait because others ordered first. And the other tables have simpler dishes that the kitchen can make faster because its already precooked.' First off, we just asked for water, we weren't rude at all to be given this sort of response. So I replied back and said there was NO ONE over in these areas when we got here and they have their orders. And the manager got EXTREMELY RUDE! He went and got the ticket from the kitchen and was like look at the time stamp, you put your order in at 11:58am. We were dumbfounded when the waitress came to fill our water we asked her why our order was put in soooo late. She TOLD us "well when I took your order I got busy running around and so I put it in when I could". No apologies from either the manager or the waitress! I cannot believe the manager felt it is alright to treat customers this way (rudely) and yell at them when OBVIOUSLY the waitress was at fault for putting the order in EXTREMELY LATE after taking care of the new customers that came in.WE ARE NEVER GOING BACK! I suggest no one go here ever because of the bad attitudes of the manager, kitchen, and carelessness of the waitress.Oh and after all that waiting the food was mediocre at best!!FYI, We got our food about 17mins after we initally asked the manager what the status is for the table's order. It seems the waitress finally put it in when we first complained. All in all, the manager needs to apologize to my group for yelling and blaming us! Freaking pathetic to blame customers that was sitting patiently for almost an hour for food!

Don't go here! The manager is rude to customers without first finding out the truth. My group waited about an hour after sitting down at the restaurant to not be served our food until about an hour and a half wait! When we inquired about our order, the manager told us the order was just placed and would take 10mins. But that's wrong we asked about the status of our order about an 1hr into waiting after the waitress took down our order! Because we had a child with us who was hungry we decided to continue waiting. While waiting we asked for a water refill and the manager was rude to us telling us that we can have whatever we want but have to wait our turn because other customers ordered before us and their dishes were easier to make since it's precooked. That's what made me upset! There was no one in the restaurant until after we placed our order! This manager even went out of his way to show us the order timestamp. Come on! Use your brain!! Who puts in the order tickets?! Your waitress does!!! Why not ask her if she put the ticket in late? We did just that! We asked her and she ADMITTED she got busy after taking our order and PUT THE ORDER IN WHEN SHE COULD! So really who's at fault?? DO NOT GO HERE! Neither manager or the waitress apologized for the extreme wait or the rudeness they showed us! Even the kitchen was yelling loudly about being asked why the order is late. Pathetic!

The eggs Benedict was so so ,one egg perfectly cooked one way over cooked ham was dry and overcooked. Our coffee cups were empty frequently, and no one asked how our meal was or if we wanted anything. Seems like a senior hangout ,and I'm almost a senior but wouldn't recommend .

This is a nice neighborhood, family restaurant/diner. The people here are always super nice, service is good, food comes fast, and it has all the good family food restaurant staples.

Was extremely excited to try this place but disappointed. Price wise ????? extremely affordable. I got the pancake French toast, and although it was tasty not something I would get again for the size of the pancakes. My wife got a Benedict and the eggs were not cooked to perfection twice, and they ended up just taking it off the bill. Waitress gave me the wrong bill at check out, but staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. It was a Sunday and restaurant wasn’t extremely busy. I would give them one more shot , but not drive out of of my way to come back. First Watch, Nikki ds , and other spots in the birmingham / troy/clawson/ royal oak area offer a better experience for a slightly similar price point imho. They do good business so still go check em out !

I love the Cobb salad here. The greek salad dressing is the best. Not a fancy restaurant, but a warm friendly place. And good reliable food.
