In the wild and often carnivorous terrain of culinary escapades, where establishments ebb and flow with the fickleness of public favor, emerges a beacon of raw, unbridled excellence: The Grove Restaurant. Stepping into The Grove is akin to diving headlong into a fever dream of flavor and ambiance, where the boundaries of taste are pushed to their limits and where every experience is heightened by the sheer audacity of the journey. From the onset, the super friendly staff welcomes patrons as if they're long-lost comrades returning from a wayward voyage. These guardians of gastronomy, with a keen eye and an unwavering hand, guide you through an atmosphere that manages to straddle the fine line between upscale elegance and uninhibited comfort. It's a place where the walls seem to whisper tales of decadent feasts and unbridled merriment.Ah, the food! To merely label it 'delicious' would be a grave injustice. The beef medallions, a centerpiece of carnivorous delight, were seared to sheer perfection — tender as a forbidden love ballad and robust as a tale from the heart of the desert. The lake perch, meanwhile, sang a siren song of the deep — fresh as a morning by the lakeside, crispy as the pages of an untouched journal, and radiant in its deliciousness. The Grove is not just another pit stop in the gastronomic universe; it’s a heady adventure that lingers in your soul, beckoning you to return time and again. After such a first-time visit with friends, it becomes clear that this is not a one-time affair. Oh no, it's an addiction, a call to culinary arms. The wild spirit of The Grove has cast its spell, and rest assured, I will be back. For in this tempestuous world, some promises are made to be kept. And this is one of them.

Very good food, but weird experience overall. The restaurant was empty except for what I think was a child's birthday party going on in a separate room.Halfway through our meal, some other customers came in the restaurant, looked around for staff and couldn't find any after a few minutes, so they came over and asked if we could help them? For a place rated as a nice restaurant it was just a really strange experience

Wish I could rate this place higher. The staff was friendly and perhaps if we had not caught them on such a busy weekend (Labor day weekend), the experience could have been better. It was clear that they were understaffed, we had to ask for our drinks a couple of times and took forever to get them. One of us didn’t receive our ginger ale until the end of the meal and by that point we were already getting the check. I will say that the lobster Mac and cheese was very very good. It was a very hot day that day and the a/c was lacking. It won’t be very likely that we will return to dine here but our waitress was very apologetic and we appreciated that.

This place is a hidden gem that I recommend to everyone. The food is incredible and Chef Eduardo puts so much care and thought into his menus (I've loved every restaurant he's worked at). While the paella is amazing, the brussel sprout appetizer is a must and the crab cakes are decadent. I'm constantly shocked by how not crowded it is everytime I've gone and I can only hope that more people visit and appreciate this wonderful place.

THE best restaurant experience our family has had in the last 10 years going to this area. We were intrigued by the menu and were blown away with the taste, presentation, and service. The ribs were falling off the bone with a very unique sauce. The steak sandwich was glorious, and the plantains were outstanding. Take the family, or enjoy a wonderful date night.

This is a hidden GEM of a place to dine! Out cocktails, wine, plantains, lobster bisque, ribeye sandwich, BBQ ribs, and dessert was fantastic! Highly recommend the food. Get a table on the screened in porch and enjoy your feast. Super affordable too.

Highly recommended. Great food, friendly and peaceful vibe. Starters, salads paellas, lamb all excellent . Reasonable wine prices and amazing deserts. Keira handled our table and is totally on top of it. Appears to be well run.

Very disappointing. Honestly, food was just not good at all. Large portions, but bland and poor quality. You can tell most of the stuff they serve is frozen. Server was so nice though. Hope this place improves.

Great fusion restaurant. Good selection across multiple dishes. The lamb medallions, paella and steak with Chimichurri made with cilantro . Good cocktails including Caipirinhas. Attentive staff. Great place!

Excellent service, and the food is great! We just went back, and I have to reiterate just how good this place is. The pasta carbonara is rich, creamy, and it has great flavor, and the walleye my wife ordered had a beautiful sauce that she said was a take she'd never seen with fish before, but that she really loved. It looked awesome. I highly recommend this place.

This restaurant was KNOCKOUT, minus the cocktails (I recommend wine or beer. Eduardo (chef) knows exactly what to do with the sauces and the lamb lollipops were absolutely to die for paired with the plantains, per recommendation of the kindest waitress . All in all, my sister mother and I had a blast and favorable dining experience at a local lil hub

My husband had the Moroccan lamb lollipops and I had the seafood paella, both cooked to perfection. We also had the Brussels sprouts which were the best I ever had! They were light and kissed with honey. Good atmosphere and great service. We will be back!

Spot on. Delicious mole. Perfect fried plantains fried to the exact right color. Husband had a perfect burger--the best in a 25-mile radius. The fries are both crisp and fluffy. Right amount of crisp outside and fluffy not greasy inside. My caipirinha was generous. Since it's 60 degrees, we were able to sit in the covered porch area that is just beyond pleasant for any time, but particular Nov. not too many places cont to have outdoor options when it's unseasonably warm. Overall fantastic experience.

Eduardo took the time to chat with us and make sure we enjoyed our ribeye on flatbread and black angus burger. A really cozy old inn with out the tourist crowd.

We had a weeknight dinner here while staying at the sister location, Lakeside Inn. It was very quiet that night, and we had wonderful food ably served by the chef's wife. My husband had the lamb, which he said was perfect, and I had the ribs. They were fall off the bone perfect, and I kept half for lunch the next day. This was a great choice for dinner and we would return anytime.
