Amazing pastry place!! It's inside the Host in Utica. I ordered a breakfast platter and everything was delicious! Some of the favs... the homemade pop tarts and these chocolate croissants. I also picked up a few biscoff cheesecakes, and some cookies. Romena was super sweet and again she is super talented! I hear she is opening her own place soon and I look forward to that!

Found this place late one night on a weekend when I was craving sweets! Just for fun, I searched for "carrot cake" on my iPhone maps app and this place came up saying it was still open! Me and the kids took a ride to check it out. Our first impression was a greeting from warm, friendly faces once we walked through the door. We were not there to eat at the restaurant/bar, but it did not matter, they were happy to chat with us regardless. We mentioned we were there for the desserts and we walked out of there with some of the most delicious and beautifully crafted ones we have ever had! I was impressed! Thank you for an all around great experience and treat for us all!!

Hard to rate this place. I've been here once and got a carry out. Very nice place with good service. I was informed that a new chef and revamped menus was on the way. Maybe we will revisit this yelp review the next time I go on.

She is perfection with her work. She gives a tasteful sweet tooth satisfying experience. I ordered my daughter's communion cake here and it was beyond delicious. I asked for a chantilly custard, cream with fruits in a white cake and she made it happen and it was unbelievable everyone loved it. I absolutely love the ALMOND CHOCOLATE CROISSANTS. They are amazing like you have to go grab one or like a half dozen. It's a must try. Also, she's really FAMOUS for her OFF THE CHARTS creative POP TARTS. Look for them they always sell out. I definitely recommend Pastries by Romena. It's a must try and go to for all pastries and desserts!

I went to get a coffee and had one of Romena'scroissants, and it was fabulous. We then found her IG account and ordered some pastries for our Easter brunch. We ordered 3 flavors of her pop tarts and croissants.I am so happy that she is now selling a bigger variety of her pastries and cakes at Host in Utica.Stop in and try for yourself. You will be happy you did. Carrot cake by the slice is excellent.
