My son went this morning and got 3 breakfest carry out orders from Woodys. We’ve gone there many times over the years. One of the orders was fine, but the other two were not good and one didn’t have the meat he ordered. He called, was very nice and even apologized. He was told by one of the waitresses to bring them back for a refund. When he got to the restaurant the head cook was rude, said he would give him a refund but told my son to never come back that he’s not welcome there any more. What a way to treat your customers. We have frequented that restaurant for over 30 but no more.

MY FAMILY BANNED FROM WOODYS ACCORDING TO HEAD COOK FOR NOT LIKING MY FOOD AND APOLOGIZING FOR ASKING FOR REFUND!!! I've always been weird about sending food bad when you don't like it let alone asking for a refund for a meal you don't like. I appreciate cooks and wait staff and understand how it is to work in the food industry so I always just keep my mouth shut and say the food was good even if it wasn't. This morning I ordered 2 skillets from Woodys in Walled Lake Michigan and I got egg whites, red and green peppers, with hash browns, mozzarella and sausage and when I got home with the food there wasn't any sausage, mostly cold egg whites and veggies with soggy toast. It was terrible , I wouldn't have asked for a refund if there was atleast sausage but considering we didn't like the other omelette either. I called and sincerely apologized and said that I felt bad and hated to ask for a refund and the lady said to bring everything back and sounded angry with me. I came back and she sent the head cook out to "check the food" He was digging his fingers in the skillet looking for the and then told me he would give me a full refund but my face was never allowed back at Woodys ever again and also banned my family from coming back as well. I have been coming to Woodys for breakfast since I was a kid , I grew up in walled lake and have always loved the local family owned restaurant. I've never had issues with the food there besides this one time. So thanks for being an asshole to the Head cook in the kitchen there. The guy with the gray beard and bald head.

Very disappointed .food quality was nit there...And no Woody burger..miss the old woods. Special coffees..? Really..bring back the great burger..

We were very happy when this place opened again. Was always one of our favorite places to go for breakfast. But was not as good as I remembered it. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and was disappointed. The gravy was runny and very bland. Had absolutely no flavor. Service was very good as everyone was friendly and attentive. We may come back but will definitely not order the sausage gravy again.

When we first walked in it wasn't busy but there were at least 2 booths that hadn't been cleared yet. There was another on that opened up while we were there and that one sat unbussed as well. By the time we walked out those 3 tables were still dirty. Service was not prompt, although I did cut the girl a little slack since she seemed to be the only one working. Our food looked good/well cooked but my sausage links tasted as if they were either over cooked or were frozen first. They were out of apple juice, for a breakfast place I feel that's a staple that should always be stocked. The price was more than I was expecting. When you pay 3 dollars for sausage links you should be getting 4 not 2. It'll be a long time before I go back
A Walled Lake Hidden Gem!BY FAR the best breakfast/lunch spot. I recently started going to Woodys within the last month and I can’t stay away! Every time I’ve gone in I’m greeted with all smiles and immediate service. (Melissa) seems to always be my waitress and she does an amazing job every time I go. (Tim), who is the owner and cook is the sweetest man. He always makes sure to come out of the kitchen after the food has been served and check on how the customers are doing. This gives Woodys a very family oriented feel as the same employees are always here and they are all family.The atmosphere of Woodys is old timey.. but in a good way! If you look around Woodys you will see old photographs depicting images of Walled Lake in the early 90s. You will also see old photos of the original owner Woody.The menu is absolutely astounding. The food is all handmade by Tim. The house fries/hash browns are cut by hand fresh every morning.On this particular day I decided to try the “Make your own skillet”. They have so many ingredients to choose from. It’s a guaranteed hit!Next thing to try on my list is the breakfast charcuterie board!! Never have I heard of such a thing.Absolutely delicious!

the containers of pig slob that got delivered to my door by this place is astonishing , I can’t believe that anyone would eat here. The care that was taken with my order was none. All my food was either under cooked or over cooked. I don’t write many reviews but this was a terrible breakfast and I was mad at myself on how much I spent on this slop. I am the furthest person from Karen but this was too bad not to leave a bad review. Woodys cafe gets a zero
