Been here twice & both times the same cashier was unprofessional and rude. The first time, the food was decent. The second time, it was horrible. I'm not sure if the meat I had was turkey chops because it looked like chicken strips and was real fatty. I will not return again.

This is my first time visiting this place. The food is a 4/5 for me. Spaghetti is a little soupy and on the salty sides. The macaroni and cheese is on the basic side. The bbq rib tips are VERY good and meaty! Still good food overall.

Stopped going because every visit ×4 was just salty! Everything was salty. Tried again because my mom wanted CatFish & it is so hard to find good "real Catfish" near us . Had a few good visits but visit on Friday was back to "SALTY" . She had mashed potatoes (terrible & from a box) and Yams... Yams are the only dish that is consistently great and the Cornbread they no longer serve.Please do better. I want to give you my money & my business.There are limited Soul places near me.

We got there 30 minutes before closing so we could not order anything fried. We had ox tails, roast, baked chicken and rib tips to choose from. Which is a great selection. My food was so damn good! I got rib tops, black eyed peas and greens. I am disappointed that they no longer serve cornbread. The place looked nice and

My food choice was very tasty, with the exception of the greens could've been more flavorful ?. My go to choice was the Turkey w/ dressing & 2sides dinner. This is my opinion, the dressing side was hands the best from a restaurant. I had just went to another soul food place and by comparison the price difference was worth it.As far as portions, it's never enough, especially if you haven't eaten all day, u know u can smash some good food. Bottom line YEZ, I'd go back to lapes, even though they're further away...I hear they have other locations, I may try one, I pray the food quality is the same....The service could be friendlier and the place could be more inviting. Wish it was designed with a place to eat there if you chose!. It's cut & dry a carry out service....Parking: Seems everytime I go here, the lot where they're located is always full...

Terrible! Pork chop mostly fat and gristle. Tasteless coating that fell off. Low quality meat. Canned corn with no seasoning or butter. Mashed potatoes and gravy both instant. No soul in my meal!! Totally bland...tasted like nursing home food!
