I haven't been here for years but I'm impressed with the expansion/upgrades they've done. They now have fries, but that isn't as awesome as the tasty smoked BBQ they are still serving.Bev has done a great job with her establishment and her commitment to providing for her guests is top notch. No longer a 4 star bar with good food, it's now a 5 star bar or restaurant, whichever you prefer to see it as. I see it as both.Highly recommend ?

I love barbeque and am always on the hunt for a new place to check out. I've heard of this place before, and came here with a fellow yelper to check things out.Walking in, the place is much larger than I had anticipated. That's a good thing. Plenty of seating and room to move about. I scoured the menu to see what they had which was a decent selection. Since I don't eat pork and my meat of choice is brisket, I kind of knew what I already wanted before even entering, so I knew what I wanted for the most part. They have meals here that are big and small. I went with a brisket sandwich that came with chips and a few extra bucks for a drink. While the pricing's competitive with others in the area, it was about $14.95 for my sandwich alone. If I wanted to change out my side of chips for anything else, it was a $2 upcharge.I'm okay with the $2 upcharge really, but to be honest, I wasn't overall impressed with their side selections. Usually, it's a pretty standard issue of things like baked beans, fried Okra, mac and cheese, etc. I didn't see any of those items on their sides. They had onion rings which is cool, but I was hoping for more. I did receive coleslaw with my meal which was actually a okay. I'm neither here nor there about coleslaw, but it was good at this location for the most part.On top of the lack of sides selection and random upcharge, ordering here can be a little confusing. You order at the counter, take a table number and seat yourself. Okay, cool. But they wait until the end to make you pay, not after you place your order with a waitress. Being that my friend and I were splitting our bill, we wanted to make sure things were separate. Plus what's the point of not paying at the counter? I'd rather do that then pay at the table. It's not like I'm going to continuously order more and more food.On the plus side, the servers did come to check on us on a regular basis, which we loved. Made sure we had everything we needed, but did not notice we were low on drinks and being that we were so involved in our conversation, we kept forgetting to ask. The staff here's friendly and knows their stuff which we loved!Food and service here was good, and I really loved coming here. I'd gladly dine in again as it was a great experience and I have no formal complaints. I will ask for chopped brisket next time but it was good and tasty when I ate here!

First time here, we ordered our food to go and everything was delicious. We walked in around 8 on a Saturday night and the three man band was a little loud. The setup was also a surprise. You order at the counter and I believe if you eat there they bring your food to your table when it's ready.

Once again had another great take home meal. For under $50 I have enough food for two days. I love that the owner bev is behind the register taking orders and greeting people. Love this local place.

When you enter Victory Inn order at the counter and they give you a number to put on your table. We were able to order and the food came out quickly. There is currently a lot of construction on Mound Rd so it can be hectic to get in or out of their private parking lot. One could easily see that Victory Inn is a popular lunch spot. I had a pulled pork sandwich, crispy fries and a side of Mac n cheese. The food was delicious. The wait staff made a special effort making us feel welcomed. They made sure my little one had crayons, coloring book and Halloween treats. It put a big smile on his face. So overall, Victory Inn is a good spot for some BBQ. I would recommend this establishment. Yum.

The atmosphere is very pleasant. The service is wonderful and fast.I loved my 1/2 pound victory burger after I picked off the 0.25 pound of pure fat. I don't like fat, the chewy/slimy texture of it, makes me feel like im trying to swallow a massive booger, gross. Other than the fat the burger was excellent. The wife got the rips and pulled pork (all of their meet is smoked). She loved the pulled pork but not the ribs. In other words, if you love juicy ribs that fall off the bone then don't come here. They were dry with what seemed like a rubbed on flavor.

Some of the best burgers around and that's not even their specialty. I haven't tried their various smoked meats but I've heard nothing but praise. Great atmosphere and good beer too can't beat it

Great bbq even if I didn't order it. Went to Vic Inn last night. Ordered the picked 2, and was quickly berated by the server who corrected me when ordering as I asked my sides first... note to self don't do that ever again. I ordered the St. Louis style ribs and burnt ends and 2 sides , baked beans and Mac n cheese. We found a table and waited our food. Same girl who took our order walked up with a 2 meat/2 sides meal and wings. Neither looked like ours and we really couldn't hear her with the band playing. Told her sorry this is not our food. She walked away and then came back and placed the meal in front of me very matter of fact, put it down and said this IS yours. After the level of attitude out of this young lady, I just took it and ate it. Meat was good but not what I ordered. Leaving there another waitress and myself was passing. Servers are always busy so I moved out of her way to pass. Rudely she put her hand out by her side and pointed to the door!!! I don't know if we picked a bad night but dang!! I've had more pleasantries at a colonoscopy, and that's a pretty crappy experience Food was good but so as your told, eat what they give you, and stay out of their way, and you'll be good to go

Second time here first time had the brisket sandwich and Mac and cheese they where alright nothing to right home about thought I would give it another try the burnt ends where all fat and sauce all over them terrible ant it was like $17.95 for a half pound save your money and go elsewhere! Some places just can’t cook and this place is one of them it’s just a bar to have a beer at in my opinion!

Classic local spot for drinks and good food. While still honoring its roots as a traditional bar frequented by a lot of “regulars,” they have upped their food game with in smoke house barbecue and more choices on the menu. The service staff is always friendly and attentive.

I stopped in at 8AM Sunday morning. The place is awesome. I was able to get what was ever left in the kitchen as far as BBQ went! I loved it!! GREAT service!!!

The food here is very consistently good. They have made so many improvements over the past few years! They do specials almost every day, and on top of having some really good food, the staff is super nice and attentive. Definitely come check it out!
