Pizza is not like it used to be. It was very good for years.

Never had ordered from them before. I got a meat lovers -pepperoni +feta. From the first bite to the last all I could taste was salt. Could not taste the sausage, ham, feta, nor the sauce. Bacon I could taste, but that was all. Less quality ingredients. Additionally when delivered it was not in an insulated bag (during winter). Pizza wasn't cold, just wasn't hot. With as many options out there, and it costing as much as the big league stores. Lucky Duck Pizza will never be my first, second, nor third choice. I was very bummed as I like trying new places.

Only toppings in the middle of pizza and very few. The taste of the pizza was disgustingly disappointing! Waste of money!

Used to be my favorite pizza place. I'll never come here again. I did not know that they had changed owners. This was our go-to for a decade or more. My son has a severe dairy allergy. We had never had a problem with that. One time, they accidentally put cheese on it; they remade ALL our pizzas because obviously the ones for the rest of the fam would be cold by the time they remade my son's. Then they comped my salad for the wait. This time, my "no-cheese" pizza had parmesan sprinkled on top. I had written "severe dairy allergy" twice on the online order (because no one answered the phone). I had to explain twice that parmesan IS cheese. They seemed stunned that I wanted it remade. So I took home one hot pizza - which I had to watch them make to be sure it was going to be safe - and one cold pizza because it was made 25 minutes before the other one. No apology. Nothing comped. No thank you. P.S. got home and found out one of the other pizzas had green olives on it, not green peppers. Not going to kill anyone, but not what was ordered either. Again, no thank you. Never again.

Got a simple pepperoni pizza, nothing else. Knew nothing about the place, just moved to the area, trying all the pizza places around. This has been the best pizza so far and by far. Chubby Charile's, Pizza Express, Marco's, Hungry Howie's, all inferior.

I’m so disappointed in the service and food quality. Stop being cheap and hire employees that know what is going on. The people working there are clueless and don’t talk. Hire some younger workers that want to work. It’s such an uncomfortable environment to be in now. I’m not here to complain about new or old owners but do what you can to make the place halfway decent.

Never been here before, always wanted to try it since it had good reviews. Had an issue with the order when I picked it up, I didn’t want the wrong item that they were trying to give me, the owner refused to give me my money back. They made a new item for me while I waited. Got the pizza home, had one slice and it was OK. Way too much cheese, and the pizza had no sauce? The salad tasted weird so didn’t eat it either. Overall, big waste of $35 dollars. After reading more reviews, it makes sense that they are new owners. Never straying from chubby Charlie’s again!

Food was delicious. However, their menu is purposely misleading. When I placed my order it was over $10 more than what it was advertised. When I asked why, I was told that each topping (including the first topping of basic pepperoni) is an extra $3.00. So unless you want dough with sauce, the prices they advertise are incorrect. I don’t really plan to come back. If it wasn’t $45.00 for 2 pizzas and bread, I would definitely come here regularly, but between how expensive it is, and the misleading business tactic, I’m not interested in giving them money.

Thought the place was closed when I walked in. Atmosphere felt off. New staff, the old staff was dynamic. Good pizza but not as great as before. Place needs a good cleaning, soda dispenser was filthy.

I used to work in Waterford & made it a point to enjoy Lucky Duck pizza for lunch quite often. For the past 7 years I've lived on the East Side but still visited my chiropractor over here weekly, making a point of getting an 11:00 appointment & then had the lunch special here. Then it was recently sold. Very nice people, BUT semi-incompetent service, recipe seems to have changed, cheaper EVERYTHING, irregular hours & worst of all, the place is always FILTHY! Makes me sad to say goodbye Lucky Duck.

pizza was good, breadsticks were great!! definitely a little greasy and oily but that's because of the good classic cup pepperonis! would come back again after this first visit

Don’t bother coming here if you want to have a good experience and are looking for a local pizza place to come back to. The atmosphere feels so incredibly uncomfortable, no one tries to have a conversation with you when you enter the building and most just stare you down. When I called, they weren’t friendly over the phone and kept asking if I wanted two of the subs I was trying to order when I only wanted one. I miss the old owner who used to make the place feel like it was genuinely a great place to be at. Now it feels as if they just want to make money instead of putting in effort towards a business. I know the old owner was extremely passionate about the store and worked extra hard to make every single person who walked through the door feel welcome. Never a complaint from me ordering from there when the previous owner worked there, but I will not be returning after this previous incident. Learn how to actually run a business or don’t own a business at all. Especially if you are unable to make a sub the proper way as shown on the menu posted on the wall.

The new owner and staff are definitely figuring it out now. I know it was a really rough start. In July we have eaten there or taken out 3 times. Each time was excellent. The order was made to perfection. It was ready on time. Most importantly it tasted wonderful. Give them a chance to prove themselves to you too. Keep the Duck alive!

I ate here for years and loved it. When I walked up today I immediately knew something was off. The change of hours on the door. I walled in to no music and the pictures that had been there for years missing. Noticed that i didn't recognize a single person in the kitchen (was usually the same few people for years). I had a bad feeling in my stomach that there was new ownership. I guessed it right. Serious bummer. I wouldn't say the food was bad but it definitely didn't have the touch that it used to. Just not the same vibe. I will really miss the old owner and staff, had some good memories✌️
