I was skeptical to try this place due to the prices, however I took a chance and was NOT disappointed. I got the Korean beef and white rice. The meat was high quality and the rice was cooked perfectly. The portion sizes for one meal were easily enough for 2 people.I was greeted as I walked in and the server on duty immediately went to retrieve my order. I was inside maybe 3 minutes after placing an order online.I wish there was a half size available for this meal, but overall my experience here was much better than many other restaurants in the area.The service and food are top notch, try this place.

Good food but they told me it would be a 15-20 minute wait for carry out when I ordered on the phone. I arrived 25 minutes later and they made me wait another 20 minutes to bring out my food. I genuinely think they waited to start making it until I arrived. Really set me in a bad mood when all I wanted was to enjoy their sushi. If I go back, I’ll ask for a definitive time on the phone before killing an hour for 2 rolls of sushi

Their food is great, but the one time we dined in (thursday) they never brought my food. The other waitress brought the sushi I ordered to the wrong table and we watched the whole thing while splitting my husband's Ramen. It took almost 10 minutes for our server to tell us that the food was brought to the wrong table. I know they were busy with carry out, but between the two servers there was no communication and our server kept apologizing for how long everything took. Just drinks and ordering our food took over 15 minutes. We felt stupid for how long we were there (hour and 15 mins), we tried being patient and kind, but sadly not going back for a while. I really wanted to have a good experience, the food had been great before when we did carryout, and it's a comfortable place for the kids. Many families were there.

The only thing we enjoyed was the rice cake appetizer. The sashimi was dry and not fresh at all. The sushi roll was sub-grocery store/gas station quality. The ramen broth tasted as if it came from a shin-ramen cup. The bibimbap was mediocre, overly salted and just plain disappointing. Overall the service was mostly friendly, but no one asked how our meal was (which thankfully so, because I didn't want to have to have the awkward conversation about how bad everything was) and the loud kpop didn't help the experience. Not entirely sure how this place has such a high rating.
I ordered a Chirashi bowl. Sashimi on a bowl of rice. The raw sushi pieces were not fresh and they were very chewy. Usually it just melts in your mouth. Anyway… for $22 I would not recommend.

Placed an order online for take out. This is our first time trying Mochi Sushi and it's now one of our favorites for hibachi. We didn't try their sushi so can't speak to that part of their menu. I had their chicken hibachi with fried rice and a house salad with ginger dressing. Their salad is the freshest salad I have ever had at a hibachi or Sushi restaurant!! Their ginger dressing is really good too. The hibachi is large, vegetables are fresh, chicken is cooked really well, rice and noodles are amazing, and love their yum yum sauce.
