“I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. All I have to say is...."What in the Kosher Salt and Mrs. Dash is going on in that kitchen?!" I had the Prime Rib (only available on Sunday) the soup of the day was a beautiful Mushroom Brie and that Avocado Ranch was indeed a Chef's Kiss. The drive may have you looking and questioning if you are on the right track, but once you experience this culinary delight you won't be disappointed.”

“I am not an avid wine drinker but this establishment definitely has more than just wine. There are some select delicious food options to pair with your drinks. There is a variety of wine that changes throughout the seasons and there is something that will suit anyone's tastes. They have a select set of Michigan distilled whiskey/bourbon that are always great to try. My favorite go to is actually a craft beer that is made in Michigan called Orange Whip. The prices are reasonable and staff are very welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend trying here and trying to schedule events!”

“The best dive bar in 1000 miles! This place isn’t trying to be anything that it’s not. Everyone is always friendly the drinks are always strong, you can’t beat this place!!!!! They don’t serve dinner food per say, but they do have snacks if the drinks are a little too strong. Pool, shuffle board, touch tunes and dart boards, you can’t go wrong! The bartenders will make you feel at home, and you will want to come back again and again!”

“This McDonalds location has everything down pat. They take orders with an amazing attitude and I get everything I ordered the first time. I have never had to run inside or return due to not having an item that I ordered. The staff is friendly and actually care about doing a good job. “Local ice cream joint that has a wide variety of unique flavors. All the ice cream is supposedly locally made, and you can tell the quality when you eat. Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Creamy and smooth without being full of ice vrystals- bold flavors that aren't overpowering, and fair prices for the quality and quantity you get. Highly recommend!”

“Awesome food! The Turkey Pesto was delicious!! My wife had the Breakfast Panini and said she would definitely get it again. If you're in Shipshewana then I highly recommended you stop in for breakfast, lunch or Coffee and a scone. We had the pumpkin scone today and it was amazing!”

“Such a fantastic little place. Only 3 employees that seemed rushed and not the greatest personalities. You order at the counter and it does take a while. It was before a concert so may have been much busier so not holding it against them. The smashburger was delightful as was the fried pickle appetizer nice and crunchy batter. Ordered fries and got chips but the fries looked good. The orange Creamsicle drink was delightful but reminds me more of a keylime pie vs orange Creamsicle. Definitely a must try little gem.”

“First time at this lovely venue. Lots of different seating options with plenty of outdoor space for the warmer months. I had the catch of the day for Friday and it was fish and chips. The fries were battered and served hot and crispy. So was the fish! 5 good sized pieces right out of the fryer. Couldn’t finish everything. Salmon chowder was filled with fish, potatoes,corn etc. thoroughly enjoyed my meal and it’s reasonable price. I will be back! The menu is loaded with things to try.”

“I dropped by for a flight of beers on my way through the area, and I found River Trade to be very pleasant. The staff was friendly, and the interior felt warm and comfortable. I liked the lacquered wood on the bar. The beers were very nice and none of the ones I tried were anything too unusual. My biggest regret is that my stomach didn’t allow me to finish everything or to try their food (I was too full), but everything looked great. Surprisingly enough they had toasted ravioli on the menu, and I’d really like to try that someday. It’s definitely a good place to stop if you’re in the area.”

“Great People, Great Food, Great Place!Souper Brew is one of my very favorite Restaurants, and going there is always a treat. The Owners are wonderful, generous people. The Food and Coffee is very high quality, and tastes as though it was made with love. 10/10 cant wait to come back.Vegetarian options: Plenty of Vegetarian soups! Also, their salad bar is my absolutely fabulous!Dietary restrictions: Extremely Accommodating when it comes to Dietary Restrictions. Almost any Drink could be made Sugar free, and almost every day there is a DF/GF, or Vegan Soup option.”

I have never eaten at a restaurant that is so consistent in quality until eating here. Homemade pies, scratch made soups and legendary breakfast and dinners fit for a king. “I highly recommend this breeder. The process was really easy and straightforward. We adopted Sammy two months ago and she has been an absolute life changer for us. She’s energetic, smart and avid cuddler. She loves playing with my sister’s dog(Chihuahua/Maltese mix) and they’re best friends. Sammy tries to make friends with every dog, cat and person she meets. Although, as a word of caution for you, if you do not like attention, don’t get a pomsky bahaha. Whenever we leave the house, without fail, a few people will stop to ask me what kind of dog she is hahah.”

“Came into town and was looking forward to trying out the newly opened Blind Island Brewery. I dined with my cousin and his wife. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and pleasantly surprised with good food. I was also able to indulge in their own Chocolate Ale which was delicious. I can easily see this place becoming a local staple for many years to come. I think one of the best paths forward is providing Crowlers to carry out guests as well as dine in customers. I think they are doing everything right at this point. Focusing in on providing a limited menu but doing it well. I had the fish and chips and thought it was excellent. The fries were as good as any that I have tasted. Looking forward to tasting some of their smoked meat options in the future too. Keep doing what you’re doing by not growing too fast and build the customer base into the summer. I can only imagine that people will flock as as the months grow warmer.”
