The fried rice was coo but that was probably the worst Mongolian beef I’ve ever tasted. The meat ain’t even taste real. I never been to a Chinese restaurant that fortune cookie don’t come with the meal

Truly terrible food. A plate of lo mien and a couple egg rolls will run you about $20 and it's absolutely not worth it. I've been coming here on and off because there's almost nothing else in Whitmore Lake that's not sandwiches but today I just had to leave a review. The food has been consistently bland even when you specifically ask to make it spicy. I guess they've gotten comfortable catering to the under developed palates of the people in this area. Again, horribly bland (and slightly smelly) food with bad service.

Food was disgusting..looked like a frozen meal from Walmart has literally NO FLAVOR...the waitress The owner lady was sooooooo rude to us I was shocked at her unprofessionalism...The ambiance was like walking into the crypt keepers lair...so dark you barely see ....then the prices WOW they raised everything sooooo I'm now looking 4 a new Chinese restaurant to frequent

The food was not good. I ordered bourbon chicken substitute lo mein for the rice and crab Rangoon. My husband had the broccoli chicken combo with fried rice. It seems like they have a generic cooking process of here's your protein and then ladle whatever sauce over it. The bourbon chicken was not what I expected. It was stringy, bad cuts of chicken, an assortment of veggies, and a lake of sauce. My husband's was similar but with a bucket of dark brown sauce poured on it instead of the sauce I had. I get that a lot of places cook this way by having your protein pre-cooked and then changing out the sauce or sides. But, do you have to make it so obvious? And please cut back on the quantity of sauce. They must go through buckets. I only ate a couple of bites and trashed the bourbon chicken. The lo mein was fine, but it was just noodles and no cabbage or any veg. I will say that the crab rangoon were amazing. They were crunchy, hot, and actually had crab in them. I would order them again, but I don't really feel like scouring the menu until I find something else to go with them, so i don't think we will be back.

Have been choosing China Garden for the best wonton soup and garlic chicken year after year in spite of moving away. The owners are always kind and food is consistent. We have eaten all over and time and again return for fresh ingredients, generous portions and excellent flavor.

We have been visiting China garden in Whitmore for decades..they are the best most economical authentic Chinese restaurant around..hands down. Thank goodness they have survived COVID19 and continue to offer something other than pizza in Whitmore area ? thanks for sticking around China garden

Ordered 2 meals, substituted fried rice for one meal, and 2 spring rolls. $45!!!!!!They charged $11.40 for the fried rice substitution when it clearly states "white or fried rice" with meal.
