“Indulgence meets perfection at the Boathouse in Traverse City! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a warm ambiance and breathtaking waterfront views that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The surf and turf with filet mignon and lobster tail surpassed all expectations, delivering a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. Each bite was a testament to culinary mastery, with the tender filet mignon perfectly complemented by the succulent lobster tail. It was a gastronomic delight that left us craving for more. The backdrop of the waterfront added an extra layer of charm to our evening, creating a serene and picturesque setting that enhanced our dining pleasure. The combination of delicious cuisine and stunning scenery made for a truly magical evening that we will cherish for years to come. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was nothing short of perfection. If you're looking for an exceptional dining destination in Traverse City, look no further than the Boathouse. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience that will leave you with memories to savor long after the last bite. We just booked our hotel for this upcoming 4th of July and look forward to visiting again. Doug Kosch and the team know what they are doing! ~Steve Darragh“

“This restaurant is very good. The service was excellent. Calamari appetizer was fairly good. My salmon entree with risotto was very good. The salmon had a nice glaze on it and a very tasty crumble which added flavor. My second trip had a delicious salmon chowder, bacon wrapped shrimp which had a great flavor to it, and a very tasty and tender short rib. My partner got prime rib dip and smoked chicken Gouda pasta and was very pleased. You won’t regret coming here. Only thing I’m not a fan of was the side salad (house or Caesar) - just a normal, simple plate of lettuce with a few toppings, but it is $9. Way too expensive.“
