Found this gem on accident visiting town. Food was delish and the scenery was beautiful! Our server was delightful and indulged us in some history on the building. Very interesting and made for an overall wonderful personalized experience! She made it a point to share how gorgeous the outside patio is during the summer and we will absolutely be back to view!

The River House Inn was amazing! Great ambiance, service and food. Desert servings were a great end to the evening. Suggest going back when the patio is open and the weather is a bit warmer. Overall, highly recommended!

We got to sit outside on a beautiful fall evening. It appeared that the restaurant was short-handed, but our server still delivered excellent service. Every dish on the table looked and smelled incredible. My meal was off the charts. I had a grilled wedge salad and a lobster and brie grilled cheese sandwich. It was heaven on earth.

Great people who work there. Umbrellas need updating. Landscaping could use some tlc.

Absolutely beautiful setting. Food was terrible for the price. I really wish it was better as it is a cool place.

We have tried to dine here before but there was always a wait, no place to park and reservations are highly suggested. We got lucky last night as they weren't that busy. The Ribs were perfect, Salmon dinner just as good and the martinis were very tasty. We had cheesecake for desert and mushrooms for an appetizer. The wait staff is wonderful and the scenery on the patio very relaxing. Made for a nice evening after a long day of work.

We visited Riverhouse Inn for our anniversary dinner. The food, service, and atmosphere were all wonderful! We'll be back!Kid-friendliness: The restaurant was kid friendly. The location next to the river and walking path were definitely interesting to the young lady at the table behind us.Parking: The restaurant and parking lot are not large, but there was plenty of available parking.

Great atmosphere while eating outside, probably the best scenery anywhere around. Very comfortable and peaceful. Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about the food they serve. Great bar, great food all in all a great place to eat. This is the hidden gem in Williamston.

Three of us arrived at 4:30. We were the only ones there. We were asked if we had reservations and replied that we did not think we would need them at 4:30 in the afternoon. We were told you ALWAYS need a reservation in a condescending tone. Once we were seated the menu arrived and it was nothing like the one online. Most everything was really expensive! I'm talking $30.00 for baked chicken. If I'm in Chicago, Boston, NY... maybe. Rent is much higher there. Anyway, we were told the owner did not believe in putting the actual menu online so Yelp put one in. Does this person live in the Stone Age?!?!? I always check out the menu before I go someplace. I guess if I could have gotten past the rude greeting and sticker shock I would have enjoyed the view. Can't rate the food because we had a drink and left.
