First time visiting Tavern 109 in Williamston. We ordered the polenta bars, a Krak n Bleu burger, and a Cherry burger. All of the food was delicious and cooked perfectly! Our server was not particularly friendly, but everyone has a bad day, so I am still rating our experience as 5 stars. We will come back for the food for sure ??

This was our second visit and we were not disappointed! The mustard-crusted salmon was out of this world, the flavors were amazing in this dish. The brown butter chicken was amazing. The service was on point as well, attentive, courteous, and engaging. We will be back!

Food has always been a highlight however the last year has been hit or miss. Busy or not, salads are boring, some dishes are missing pieces and the staff doesn't seem to notice. It's great to employ younger staff and with today's market it's hard to find quality for poor pay but without proper training and experience, it shows. Ambiance is always awesome unless you get posted at the tables in the window that have sunlight shining right in your eyes for dinner.

Fantastic service, fabulous food! Love this place!Had the feature last night and the Baja Tacos wereAMAZING!! Hats off to chef Chris!Vegetarian options: There is a large menu for vegetarians.Dietary restrictions: Tavern 109 will always work with the guest to meet any dietary restrictions. I have even called a couple days ahead of our reservation and chef Chris was amazing at putting an entree together for our daughter's special needs.Parking: There is a small parking lot right behind the restaurant and then just across from that is McCormick's Park with a large parking lot. Also adjacent to the small lot is another large parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Tavern 109 is very kid friendly. They have kid menu, coloring placemat w/triangle crayons so they are not rolling off the table, and waxy sticks to entertain children for the duration of your dining time.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp located at the back entrance of the restaurant and the front entrance along with the courtyard entrance is also wheelchair accessible.

We are longtime guests at the 109. Today might be our last. Our meals/sandwiches were cold. The cheesy grits were cold without the cheese melted. The soup was lukewarm. The waitstaff was subpar. We were very disappointed. No apologies were provided. We also noticed that the waitress was providing poor service to other customers & they seemed dissatisfied with their orders.

The food was amazing. The menu has some unique offerings (ie: grits, chicken and waffles...) and lots of standard items like sandwiches, burgers, chicken options. Service was great also!

I picked this place blind for a party of 10 after MSU graduation. First of all, the town was so cute and festive for the holidays. They put us at the back of the restaurant in our own room, but it was all windows so we still felt like part of the restaurant. The cocktails, appetizers, and all 10 food orders were GREAT! Our waitress was attentive but not intrusive. I recommend this place highly!! 10/10

This restaurant has my favorite black bean burger. I had the dill pickle soup the last time I was there about a week ago. It was AMAZING! Never thought it would like a dill pickle! It was delicious! Highly highly highly recommended it!
