I ordered a cake for my daughter back in January for her 5th birthday. The staff here did a phenomenal job with her cake!! I highly recommend Serendipity for any sweets!!!! It was so delicious, the icing was amazing and the look of the cake was beautiful!! Thank you all for making this wonderful cake! I will definitely be returning for more sweets in the future!!!

If I could rate this establishment with more than a measly 5 stars, I would. My co-workers recently ordered a birthday cake for me, but left a lot open as for its design, etc., but nonetheless, Serendipity came thru! The result was one the BEST birthday cakes I've EVER had! EVERYTHING abt it was absolutely perfect! I almost didn't want to eat it bc it was truly a work of art! One of my greatest birthdays ever! I've seen wedding cakes elsewhere that cost hundreds of dollars that didn't have the degree of quality, creativity, detail, and craftsmanship that went into a simple birthday cake, I can't imagine how elaborately and beautifully actual wedding/ special occasion cakes here are made. Mind blown. Thank you for helping to make a birthday that much more special, Serendipity Cakery!

I had 3 1/5 dozen custome cupcakes for my daughter birthday to look like a basketball and , of they could make them look girly. It was the worst cupcakes I have ever seen and I paid $100 for them and they tasted horrible. I was so upset when my husband picked them up, I wanted to cry , it basically ruined my daughter's birthday party. It was beyond embarrassing to have to serve them to my guest, and they just sprinkled edible glitter on top of the mess of a cupcake. I will never go here again, over prices and honestly me and 7 year old could of done a better job.

We’ve had two cakes made here for our youngest son and they were both absolutely amazing! One was Sonic the Hedgehog and this year was the Solar System! The cake came with stress ball planets and information cards that he can play with. So cool!! We also had Solar system cookies made for his class at school and they were beautiful! Very talented & realistic looking and colorful. He was so excited! Also very delicious. Very pleased! Thank you!

Serendipity provided dessert for one of our events at work and it was a HUGE success. We received so many compliments on the cookies and cupcakes, not only were they super cute, they were delicious.We also bought Lions cookies for an upcoming event and can't wait to use them again.They were willing to deliver, which was a big help on an event day. We will definitely use them in the future.

We tried to get a wedding cake done. I had the flavor/design already picked out but they just wanted to sell me cake pops. Once I got it past them that I wanted a wedding cake I got nothing but attitude. It's a shame they treat people like that. I would NOT recommend doing any wedding or custom orders with them.
Amazing!! My grandma brought these all the way from downriver Michigan to Alabama for my daughters 2nd birthday! My grandma had a great customer service expirence and these cookies were amazing! So beautifully decorated and also tasted great! Would higly recommend! The details in these cookies blew me away and looked like they were made with love. Everyone at the party loved them. Thanks so much!!

I ordered a cake for a birthday and picked it up. When we cut the cake open, it was so wet inside. The frosting fell off the sides due to how much moisture. I emailed the company twice with no response. I called and was told the owner would call me and nothing. $53 to throw a cake away and not have it for the birthday party is super upsetting but the fact no one reached out when I tried to communicate my issue is even worse.

I want to love this place, a small business that puts themselves out there and does so much for the area schools/students. Unfortunately once again I spent money on bad desserts. Cake in a tub: dry cake with a lot of super thick sugar flavored frosting. Chocolate covered chips: those chips were stale and lost their crispness looooong ago. I'm glad they were busy but a simple pleasantry wouldn't have hurt. I wish them well but not on my dime anymore.
