Such a letdown from beginning to end. Super expensive, our bill was $300 for two people. It took almost 2 hours for our food to be brought out. My husband and I both ordered our steak medium. His turned out medium well and mine was rare. The lobster tail was very fishy, and the asparagus side dish was only 3 spears of asparagus. The only good part of the meal was the truffle fries. There's so many better options in the area that are not a rip off.

I had a wonderful party on January 20. The food was amazing. It is a treasure to have a quality food restaurant in Downriver. The Steak and Frites was cooked to perfection. Both owners are very dedicated to make their business succeed. The atmosphere in the private room was very nice, especially and surprisingly the Fireplace on the TV made it more cozy. Please support local! Tell them Mary sent you. LOL.
First and foremost our waitress Wendy was a pleasure to have. She was so kind and freindly and very accommodating. She suggested we try the bacon wrapped scallops and they were delicious. The stuffed flounder special was a little mushy for my liking. The chicken risotto was a hit though, crispy skin and very moist on the inside. Little pricey but overall was a good experience.

Sat at the bar with 3 other people. We all ordered dinner. Mine came around 10 minutes after everyone's else's. I ordered steak frites cooked Medium. Mine finally cane out and it was raw. I showed the bartender and he agreed. They then sent it back to have "the head chef" re cook it. Not the experience you are going for when spending $40 on one meal. By this time, everyone I'm with ad finished their meals, Mine cane back out. I boxed it up and fed it to my dogs. I guess they would give a different review of the situation lol.

We had dinner reservations here for my birthday and it was fantastic. Food was absolutely delicious (we got the filet with garlic mashed potatoes and the steakhouse pasta). The staff was super friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure.

The Food! I just cannot say enough about how good the food was!!! We enjoyed every bite! We were there to celebrate two birthdays. Our only complaint was that the service was super slow. While we love our family dinners together, a meal like this should not take 3.5 hours. My very pregnant daughter was in agony trying to get through this meal. Great food and drinks, slow service, high prices, especially if you want steak. Only a few of us ordered steak, but we still managed to pay almost $100 per person.

He banned me because I canceled my reservation because I got covid and said and I quote; “we don’t want people like you here” the man doesn’t deserve to be in business, he acts like his restaurant is so amazing, I’ve ate at Michelin star restaurants that make his food taste like McDonald’sAnd this owner is a liar, he’s pathetic, I didn’t even make my reservations via phone they were made via open table and cancelled via open table and I have the email to prove that, he’s a pathetic liar, I know several owners of other restaurants on Biddle and they all say he’s a sad, petty man. Portions were insanely small. We came for the tomahawk nights dinner. We both still left hungry & went home to cook our own steak dinner. The service was ok, the restaurant kind of smelled like fish tank water.. definitely over priced, and I mean definitely. We cooked almost 4x the food after leaving there for under $100. ALSO which really rubbed me wrong was paying $50 for a reservation, and it didn’t even go towards our bill… so we paid over $250 to still be hungry and go home to cook our own steak dinner. We were so excited to go out for my birthday, for the first time in years. Although I can say we laughed so hard at how unbelievable it the entire experience was. It was not that funny to lose out on that much money. Don’t waste your time, money, or excitement. BUT SHOUT OUT TO DEBBIE FOR BEING AN AMAZING WAITRESS. She absolutely made the experience better.

We were a party of 5. Our server was patient and full of recommendations. We ordered the tomahawk for 2, 28 oz tomahawk, the Trout, and a steak pasta dish. Dessert ? was had by all. 1 was on the house for the Birthday girl. Everything was good.
