Was invited to breakfast by some friends that used to eat at Abe's all the time and now live in Chicagoland. Food was good, place is a little dated and staff was great. I will surely go back.

ordered over the phone for a to go order. asked the price and was told $7.99. I get there and they are charging me $9.64. I said "I thought it was supposed to be $7.99" and I was told there was a to go order fee. why wasn't I told this on the phone? seems like they are hard up for cash which is sad. the food was very good! which is why I changed my review from 1 to 3 stars. I'm not a fan of dishonesty.

Food is good, ambiance is not. One day we drove here from Detroit and we got there half an hour to close and were just gonna get stuff to go and as we were walking up we saw the staff walking to their cars and they had closed early which was very disappointing.
