I keep wanting to love this place ….... went again yesterday and had a rude bartender, a watered down drink served in an oversized wineglass filled with ice, and a pizza that was tasty enough but nothing spectacular. Love the atmosphere - I’ll prob give it one more try ‘cause it’s local - hope to have a better experience.

Decor is lovely, very cozy. My boyfriend and I came here for impromptu date night. I didn’t take any pictures for once, BUT everything we tried was delicious. I had bruschetta. He had Cesar salad with chicken. We split a peach pot pie and tiramisu. So luxurious! Must try in Ypsi!

Came in on a Saturday afternoon and the vibe was perfect. Lunch and a drink at the counter was excellent. Music fit perfectly. Hunter, the bartender, was full of both local knowledge and witty conversation.

Upscale cozy place. The ambiance is the best part, very comfortable and quiet enough that you can actually hear your conversation. The food is tasty and there is a rotating seasonal menu. Will definitely return, it's a gem in Ypsilanti.
We live this place. The mushroom pizza and the Tofutti pizza are the best! The waiter made me got cider and he brought us olive oil to to our pizza with! It was perfect ❤️

We went here for NYE and once before and the food and drinks are good. We just finished a dessert with pear soaked in sherry? maybe it was, but it was sooo good. Another ypsi spot with an eclectic, season-produce focused, and thoughtful menu. Really grateful a spot like this exists! Downsides were there seemed to be one, maybe two servers for the whole restaurant and thats a) lots of work for one person of course and b) leaves no chance for the type of service that should come with a 100$+ bill. Some of the seating options are really close to other tables, in a way that was enough for us to ask move to the bar instead. The staff was friendly and you could tell they were all helping each other out, maybe it was just a hard night to get proper staffing but we live close and will be checking it out again! Great pizza and salads.

This place is so good but the way they staff it is upsetting. I don't mind waiting, but it's wrong for the staff to have so little support. We were there on New Years Eve, one of the busiest restaurant nights of the year, and they had ONE server who was also the bartender and the person cooking was also running food. it is not right to treat your staff that way. Judging by the other reviews this is not an anomaly.

OK for lunch, but lousy for dinner. A cramped restaurant full of adults eating pretentious personal pizzas is not really a great experience. The aloof waitstaff seems strangely unconcerned as to whether dinners have a good experience. It's been four days since I ate there, and I'm still angry thinking about it.

Good food but a weirdly unfriendly environment. Food and drinks came out quickly which was great but... while service was quick it felt like everyone working there had something better to do. Our waitress could hardly be bothered to say more than a few words to us as well as every other table she had around us. While it was nice ambience as far as decor was concerned and the food and drinks were good, it just felt off. If I were in downtown Ypsi I might look somewhere else before I walk in there again. Bummer.
