Dairy queen will always have its way to my heart but this specific location always closes earlier than their close time. I’ve come to this location on numerous occasions and they close at least 20 minutes prior to closing time. When approached at the window by an employee, she opens the window, irritated with me, and says they’re closed. She shuts the window immediately. Disappointed.

Are the hours updated? Says open until 8:30, went at 8:20 and it was closed.

That had quick service today. Not always so. The place has cleaned up. They now have a couple of picnic tables as well as the benches. Parking is still limited and tight. Still some riff-raff hanging around, especially since a Marijuana dispensary opened next door. It's still a good place to get some ice cream.

What's not to like about a blizzard on a hot summer evening? This place is always pretty busy, but the service is fast and friendly, and you can hang out and watch the cars go by on Michigan Ave. It's got a great neighborhood vibe.

I've been going to this Dairy Queen for over 40 years and always enjoy what I get, and the staff are so friendly and always make sure that you get a great cone or sundae or my favorite the blizzards.

Today was free cone day and they were very fast serving everyone! The parking is definitely a hassle because it's such a small area to park and anyone coming in to park will have trouble for anyone getting out. But other then that, very clean tables and fast service was awesome

Worst-case of a Banana split I ever had...how can you messup a Banana split? It was all vanilla ice-cream with some type of syrup.
