Heartbroken to know this place is closing. Everyone- flood to it! The food is amazingly good and cheap. The milkshakes and floats are hella good! Make a memory before one of the last drive in eateries disappears. Thanks for the years of service and many memories!

Delicious as always. Never a disappointment. Drive in or just walk in. Fair prices for fresh, hot comfort food. Fast service if in a hurry.

There comes a time in life when you just have to relive old memories. As a child, Kluck's Drive-In was an A&W franchise. I loved the hot dogs, root beer, and other goodies at this location growing up. Moving away over the years, Kluck's became an independent operation, but still served really great foot-long chili dogs, and they still do. If you're like I am, and love root beer, then you'll love the homemade root beer that offer here at Kluck's. My father would stop in and pickup a large container of root beer from this place, and bring it home with him. God how I loved making root beer floats with this stuff. There's an old saying that all good things must come to an end. Such is the case with Kluck's. According to a worker at this location, she told me that this business will be closing in October of this year. The owner received an offer from a marijuana dispensary to buy the land, and the city council gave the project a green light to proceed. So in a matter of a few weeks, this piece of Americana will become history.

Been going here since I was little, it was really cool going to a place that my parents and Grand Parents went to. A true blast form the past and 1 of many wonderful pieces of Ypsilanti history, the food is great you got to get the footlong and onion rings there rootbeer floats are awesome to

I ordered the foot long chili dog. It seemed to me that the chili sauce they used was dry loose meat with a lot of ketchup. The dog itself was low quality. Service was good.

I remember years ago this was the place to going with my pop pop all the time it’s such an Ypsilanti staple my wife was absolutely flabbergasted waiting to be served we yelled in first pushed the button waitress came in hi welcome to clucks cash only and we’re like okay we start telling her our order no answer two other cars pull in takes there order first. Wife went into we are the only indigenous people here and she skipped us(you get where this is going) wife goes in she’s like did you take our order ladies like no tell me now. Wife takes us somewhere else Moral of the story be efficient, as possible I understand people are under staffed but first is first and last is last you were in first place but you half to wait until I help these other people dang and I really love their floats wife said we’re done.

Standard cash only drive in post covid... Gone are the trays, mug glasses, and prices of yester year. Been over 20 years since I have been here and it was bittersweet. Food is just as amazing as it was when I was a teen.Never heard of clucks? Think bills hotdogs but in footlong form... With more options for sides and sandwiches. Also some of the best fried mushrooms, ranch, and root beer around. Not all is sparkles and sheen here though. Prices are up due to inflation, and while 4$ for an amazing foot long is worth it.... Another 4$ for 6 fried mushrooms, and 4$ more for a root beer float crammed into a 16oz foam cup as a "large" are not worth the price.I'll gladly come here again down the road but only for the entrees, not the extras.
We had a great experience dining here while camping in town. The staff was so friendly and quick and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back when we are out this way.

Went in to get milkshakes after having Taco King in Ann arbor. The shake was amazing and the vibe was super retro so that was fun.

Stop at Klucks for the first time and it was pretty good. I got the regular burger and a chilli dog. Burger was smash burger style and had a nice crust from the grill, nice soft bun action and fresh LTO. The chilli dogs tasted similar to bills hotdogs however klucks chilli had a little bit of sweetness to it. They also used chopped onions on the dog and not mince onions like bills. I loved the chopped onions. In all its a great place to have a quick bite to eat with drive in service. It's a local mom and pop so I will go back to support.
