Ordered online and when I arrived they were closed. No hours listed on the door and inside it still looks under construction. I will be getting a refund from my bank and not trying it again.

Very overpriced I walked out when I saw their prices. People have said their mediocre but I’ve never tried because the food is too dang on expensive. When they have specials or deals I would come back.

Beware! Check if they are open!!! I ordered for the first time online this Friday 8-13-21 and went to pick it up and it’s closed. Now I’m seeking my refund!

I am going to preface this review by stating my ethnicity up front because it's going to be relevant momentarily. I'm Vietnamese. I walked into this restaurant tonight because I had a craving for fried catfish or some manner of fried pork chops. I was in luck as this establishment had both fried catfish and something called catfish nuggets. As I'm looking over the menu, the guy behind the counter says to me "the Chinese restaurant is next door". I honestly didn't know what to say other than Okay... Ordered my food. Waited a few minutes while he wandered into the back. He comes back out and asks me what I want for sides. I said the special on the menu says it comes with fries. He tells me that's only during the day, but nowhere on the menu does it say that it's a daily special. Fine. Whatever. Give me these two sides. He grumbles about giving me the special price anyway. Paid. Got home. Catfish nugget had a bone fragment in it, but it was a sizable portion. Red beans and rice were ok. Rice was over cooked, but beans were good. Mac and cheese was plenty creamy and cheesy with a crunchy topping. Food ok, but racism is so very, very bad.

We're picky about fried chicken, but the chicken here was perfectly-seasoned and crispy!

I went to have a nice soul food meal, I got a fish dinner and a wing dinner and from the looks of everything I thought the food was going to be delicious. Unfortunately, the meal was terrible, the wings seemed like they had been from two days ago, the fish was fried to hard, the fries tasted like they had been cooked in old grease. Also, I didn’t mind paying 50 dollars for my food and seven dollars for a side, if the food was honestly made with love, but it was terrible. I usually give places a second chance, but the time and money I spent to get a good meal and got some old leftover food I was applauded. I don’t recommend this spot to a dog.

Food was OK got shorted on a piece of fish. Mac and cheese was bland and greens were good. They are way overpriced on the deserts they sell. $7 for a piece of cake is outrageous. I support black business but not to the point of mediocre and over priced food. They need to step up their game.

First, the price quoted for meals increased at pick up, second upon arriving home found part of one meal was missing items. Called and spoke with Caroline or Carolyn the manager, she was unable or unwilling to understand what I was explaining.Spend your hard earned money somewhere else.
