Had the beef shawarma yesterday.I have eaten shawarma sandwiches from probably a hundred different restaurants between Dearborn and Dexter.The shawarma chef is tied for number-one as the best beef shawarma sandwich in the area.The perfect combination of seasoned beef with crisp onions and tahini wrapped perfectly in fresh pita and pressed on a panini press.
This place is so incredible. the spicy chicken shawarma is my favorite, and the baklava is the best I’ve had hands down!! Also the falafel is so freaking delicious I’ve dreamed about it at least once or twice. I’ve forced my coworkers to come here a few times and they love and rave about it. Every day around 10:30 AM we ask ourselves, “is shawarma chef open yet?”10/10 stars. Would eat here every day if I could. ❤️
Oh man. Oh man. The food was so good and the prices are so reasonable. Also: LITERALLY the best falafel I’ve had in my entire life??? Anyway my point is you really need to come get some food here, immediatelyEDIT: oh my god I just tried the baklava we took home. It's… it's so good.
