I was quite surprised by this place. I thought it would be OK; run-of-the-mill and nothing special. Wrong! The food is delicious, served hot and surprisingly fast. Staff were more than polite; they were downright gracious. I felt more like a guest than just a customer. Just a wonderful place, and perhaps Albert Lea's best eatery. Best chicken fried steak I've ever had. Ordered with sausage gravy. Everything was made from scratch. Pancake was light, fluffy, and delicious, and the hash browns were the best I've had in a while.

AMAZING. I wasn't positive what to expect when I walked in - it was quiet for lunchtime. I was SO impressed with this place! The food was excellent, the pie was homemade, and the staff was beyond friendly. I will absolutely put this on my regular travel rotation.
