My kids love going to The Sugar Shack! It is one of their favorite treats in town. The staff is always patient and kind as my kids struggle to choose between all the yummy candy! Highly recommend! Especially if you have kids!

What a shame this little candy store has such poor products. We went to get some sweet treats for after dinner and the clerk acted like we were an annoyance. We wanted taffy - it was hard as a rock and they were out of most flavors. The cookies looked delicious, bought a couple of those and they were stale and hard. The bulk candy was poor quality as well, hard gummies, chocolates stuck together. Really such a shame. Buy your candy and treats at Target, Walmart... literally anywhere but this place.

My family and I have been visiting Alexandria once a year for the past decade and ever since the shop opened we go in at least one while we stay in town. Almost every year when we go in the worker of the shop always seems annoyed there is people there and makes it seem like we’re interrupting something important. In all honesty it is a cute shop with many of great choices but the costumer service is down bad.
