“We ate here for the first time tonight (a Friday). Thankfully they got us a table even though we didn’t have a reservation! The white wine flight was a good price at $15. We got the ‘Sota Hot Chicken sandwich and salad, both of which were delicious. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced. The best part was the salted caramel chocolate chip cookie at the end! Absolutely delicious!“

“My husband had their basic burger and I took a bite of it, didn't like the flavor at all. Thought it was salty and for whatever reason to me had a bad taste. His fries were limp. I had the quesadilla special, it was pretty good. We ordered wings to go and they were very good! Very meaty! I will say it didn't seem like they improved anything in the restaurant from when it was the other business. I found it to be dirty looking with busted old chairs. We'll go back for the barbecue once the smoker starts up for some brisket.“

“Excellent food, brisket needs to be cooked lower and slower though, didn't retain enough moisture or smoke, the pulled pork was absolutely delicious and perfect. The pulled pork egg rolls where an interesting and refreshing spin on classic BBQ pulled pork and cabbage, speaking of cabbage the slaw was really good too but could use a bit of celery seed in my opinion.Mac and cheese bites where extremely good, addicting little morsels of fried Mac and cheese, great beer selection, I enjoyed the meal from the first bite to the last and every single item that came out of the kitchen was absolutely delicious. I'll be coming back to try the ribs and some other items and update my review accordingly.My waitress, was the most kind and genuine women I've ever had the pleasure of being serviced by, she even changed the t.v. to something else when I requested it. The best food service I've ever received.Need to deep clean the men's room, stall walls, floor etc.“

“I stopped in today because books are my jam and I was so pleasantly surprised. The shop is so lovely and clean. It has a beautiful atmosphere! I spent half an hour chatting it up with the owner who is a lovely human and we exchanged biz cards and I signed up to volunteer for story time. The best is that the book I finally decided on was the one recommended by the owner after she got to know me. It's a safe space and I highly recommend you go there today to get your book fix!“

“My 94 year-old “boyfriend” and I eat lunch at the Coon Rapids Texas Roadhouse almost every Sunday. is a tradition. We both enjoy – – especially especially if we get Dan as our server. He spoils us rotten, and his attention to detail is beyond measure. As my friend says every week, “we have never gotten a bad meal here.““

“I've long wondered where to find authentic Chinese food in the Twin Cities northern suburbs. We have a lot of Chinese buffet and takeout, but I don't think those places really claim to be authentic Chinese.House of Kirin's food is very close to the Chinatown food I've had in various places around the world. When we went, we bought from the dimsum menu and from the Asian Menu. (I didn't know there was a separate American Menu, too.)First, the dimsum. It's spendy but it is pretty good. The shrimp dumpling had a sweet and fresh taste, The Soup Dumpling was good, though I preferred it without the accompanying soy/ vinegar :). I loved the Cheung Fun rolls the best. The texture of the rice noodle roll was soft and silky, and the bbq pork (Charsiu) in it was so flavorful. Yum yum yum! My Mom was disappointed at how small the duck was for the price-- it was probably one duck breast.Off the menu, I LOVED the Yangzhou Fried Rice! I haven't had fried rice like this since I ate at the Los Angeles Chinatown. It was perfectly seasoned and had a great chicken to veggie to rice ratio. The steamed bokchoy was also phenomenal. For such a simple dish, it packed a good, clean flavor. The beef hotpot was okay.It can get quite pricey at the end of the day. However, because it was Family-style, you do get quite a bit of food. We definitely brought home a lot.“
