We enjoy coming here because food has always been great, it's close to home, and our servers are generally very kind, however it feels like just about every time we are here we are waiting forever even for the first "hello, welcome in"/ first round of drinks. Many times we will be one of like 4/5 tables so it's not very busy when this happens. I just wish we had a bit more consistency when interacting with our servers

We dine here on Saturday April 6th. The host was unhappy and lazy. She gave no welcome smiles to any customer who came in. We asked her for a high chair, and her automatic response was, "we might be out of it." We looked around and saw no high chair in use. After we settled at the table for 10 minutes, we decided to walk up to another staff member, and she was happy to bring a high chair over right away. This staff should be the host instead. The host is the very first image of a restaurant to customers. Having been in the restaurant business, the manager should notice this and remove this host right away. This unwelcoming experience could be avoided.The table was sticky when I rested my arms on it, a sign that it was not cleaned. Overall, service and atmosphere were depressing, but the foods came out to be good. And this this what matters most since we go to restaurants to eat. I hope the management team reviews this comment and takes positive action to fix up this place. It's sad to see a restaurant with good foods and location got ruined by ? staff.

This is the first Applebee's that I have gone to and been disappointed my man ordered a steak and yes granted not a steak house it came out and was the worst looking steak barely a half inch thick mostly all fat and so over cooked his shoe looked and probably tasted better. I was a server for over 3 yrs I would have never brought that to my table and then she seemed irritated when I said he didn't like it I was not about to pay $25.00 for it so they remade it and he couldn't believe how obvious it was that the first steak was just trying to get pond off instead of telling management that it wasn't up to standards to be served to a customer it was sooooo bad.Kid-friendliness: It wad my daughter's 11th bday she has always loved the apple restaurant but this time was so upsetting ?

I’m not sure in what the heck happened to Applebees to where hosts and customers think it’s a bar, lol. It’s always been known for it being a FAMILY place. When I approached the host that we had children, her attitude was so off putting I wanted to walk out and go to bdubs. She sat us in a busy section and expected us to sit in a small booth with four little kids. Like what in the world; proceeded to stare and scold us while she talked to regulars or friends at the bar. What a weird vibe. Go find a job at a bar where families don’t come if you’re gonna have that type of attitude. Gross. Get out of the hospitality business. Hopefully management finds a new host with a friendly demeanor. The food was lukewarm but you get what you pay for.

My wife and I dined here on 3/21 and we had a disgusting experience. We ordered our 2 for $26 items and when we got our salads, they came out in DIRTY bowls. It looked like ketchup and other food residue was all over both our bowls. We asked to speak to the manager and told him what happened and he said he would talk to the dishwasher about the incident…but why not talk to the people plating the food too because anyone should’ve been able to catch how atrocious the “leftovers” on the bowls looked…I regret not taking a picture. We decided to leave and enjoy a meal at Rascal’s instead.

I don't like to complain, but unfortunately, they deserve a bad review. My Mom & I got the two for $30; she got the 6 Oz steak & I got the 8 0z. Her steak was fine after I had got through about half of mine and most of that was gristle that I had to spit out then when I got to what looked like would be the better part of the steak it had a big tendency in it. At that point I had had enough and said something to the waitress she got an attitude saying I had eaten half of it so I had to defend myself & point outthe gint pile of meat that I had spit back out in my plate. A minute after the manager came over, apologized & said she would take it of the bill and talked me into getting another one to take home. We'll she never took it of off our bill. I assume it's because she gave me another steak but I would have preferred that it had just been taken off if our bill. Our family has been coming there since they have opened but that will probably be the last time I go there. This was supposed to be a special lunch. My Mom took me out as a thank you for all the assistance with her medical issues; but between the bad food and poor service you ruined it ?. With what you charge for food these days you should at least have good customer service.

Waited at least a full hour before food was delivered and it was only some of the food at a time with long waits in between. When my food finally came out it was cold so I politely asked them to reheat it. Wasn't an issue and our server, Melissa, was very nice about it. That was another hour and a half wait without food. Some of the tables around us were having issues too with not being served and long waits while people in large parties were coming in after us and they would be served right way and got their full table food before many of us. One waitress was extremely rude to the table behind us but the waitress who served us, her name was Melissa and she was truly a sweetheart. The actual manager on duty was nice and apologetic as well. Just disappointing as Ive never had this happen to me at Applebees.I will be back just let down with this particular experience. They had suddenly gotten busy and I will admit, we had gone out to this location at a bad time, it was one of the few places open later during a winter snowstorm so Im sure they weren't expecting the place to get as busy as it did. In the end the manager was able to compensate several items which was nice.

We entered Applebee's and had a very short wait. We were seated at a clean and comfy booth. The server took our beverage and app orders quickly. Soon afterwards we had drinks and a sampler of appetizers. The spinach and artichoke dip and chips was tasty. My family enjoyed the buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, mini quesadillas and celery too.My husband really enjoyed the shrimp and steak. The rice was cooked well, yet needed more flavor.My son and I thought the burgers were delicious. The fries were good. The lettuce was iceberg, which my daughter and I don't like as much. We prefer a greener option. My other kids liked their yogurt and strawberries, mac and cheese and taco.We had a great meal and experience overall.There are several televisions with different sporting events to watch for those interested as well as background pictures of the Vikings and parks in the area etc . .

My wife, child, and I were at this Applebee's on Saturday night 03/09/24. Of course we expected it to be busy as we had gone during dinner so that isn't the issue. We got sat right away, which is nice, and quite honestly unexpected as we thought we would have to wait. The host said they ran out of high chairs. Right after she told us that, a busser had commented that he could go grab one that is done being used. The host continued to say no we don't have any more. Both of them went back and forth in front of my family, us just standing there, watching them argue about the situation. We then get sat and all is great (busser brings over that highchair even)! I ordered a blue lemonade, however it just came as a blue drink with no actual lemonade in it (guessing they were just out of flavoring and i got unluckiy which happens sometimes). My wife ordered a perfect margarita that apparently comes with chips and salsa. Well we didn't realize it came with chips and salsa as no one told us when ordering and it wasn't until after our main entre of food came out (after ordered appetizers) that a different server came out with the chips and salsa. We refused them as we didn't know it came with the drink. The server continued to try and force the chips on us, not paying attention to how close she was holding them to our son (year and half old) my wife tried to warn her but our son got ahold of the plate and almost caused a mess (quick hands by mom caught him in the act preventing the whole plate from potentially falling on our child).In-between all that the service was mediocre. Forgot drinks half the time and if the margarita came with chips and salsa why didn't they come out with the drink? Or at least inform the guest it was coming? My wife wanted to watch the MSHSL Hockey championship game on a TV near us and asked the server to have the channel changed. We had to ask twice for it and as she had gotten the manager to change the channel we could hear the manager questioning her and being rude to the server about it. I'd say if your server comes to you and asks to change a TV channel for a customer you should just do it with joy and a smile on your face and not act like your server is the one that wants it changed. We are finishing up our meal and I wanted desert. Before our server came back another manager came to our table and with no introduction or context, rudely asked to see a coupon for a dessert that we have yet to order at the time that we knew nothing about. I told him we didn't even order desert yet but he continued to try and see a coupon. Our server then told the manager he had the wrong table. At this he just huffed off without so much as an apology for the intrusion.Long story short don't go to this Applebee's when it is busy. It was very apparent that there was no structure and it was every man for themselves. It is just chaos.

Waited 40 minutes for a severely under-cooked, gray rib eye. Whole plate was cold. Asked them to return it when they brought it back under-cooked a second time. Ended up eating one of my kid's chicken strips for dinner.
