Just moved to the area from Minneapolis and had to check out Famous Dave's. Had my toddler with me who fell asleep in the truck. My mother in law was also with me. We wanted to eat inside but didn't want to disturb the baby. So I went in to order for the family. Went in and was greeted right away. Josh ended up helping me. He let me take the menu out to decide with my family what to eat. Came back in and ordered. Josh said instead of waiting in here you can go outto your truck and I will bring it to you since your baby is sleeping. That was extremely nice of him! I appreciate Josh. Sometimes mothers need help. And he definitely did that! I will definitely be back! Oh and food was good! Thanks Josh for the great customer service!!!

Rarely do you find a service industry worker that goes above and beyond. The kind of interaction that makes you want to come back and become a regular. Well your employee Alex did that today. On a crazy busy Easter weekend rush he expedited and handled everything like a professional. Keep that man and pay his whatever you need to in order to keep him.

I appreciate that this location still exists after all of these years. The food and quality are consistently good.The service/attitude of the staff left something to be desired today. I witnessed an unnecessary comment from the person behind the counter to my father in law when he ordered a medium drink, to which she replied “we only have one size, so…” with a bit of an attitude.Upon paying for my family’s meal, the tip prompt came up on the screen. Well the 0% button was next to the 15% and my finger slipped when I meant to select “0.” After realizing this and trying not to sound cheap, I informed the woman that I didn’t mean to leave the tip I selected to which she replied “well the transaction already went through.” After seeing I was a bit shocked and upset she did reply with “was there something you wanted to change with the transaction?” Again with a tone that left me feeling like I shouldn’t have even said anything. I wasn’t planning to leave an almost $13 tip.I will be back but would appreciate some additional understand and kindness from the wait staff.

The beef in the brisket sandwich was VERY fatty. We had three Sandwichs and they were all bad. Very disappointed in the quality if the meal. !

I am in sales and I need to commend the manager at Apple Valley..Alex O. What was a disaster when the driver took my order and kept it turned out to be a great dinnerAlex O accepted my frustration with excellent service. He said he was going to personally deliver it and by God 20 min later he was at my hotel door. I have been all around the country Texas Arkansas Kansas known for their ribs but know one beats Famous Daves for taste. Now thanks to Alex O know one beats Famous Daves for service.
